Here I am again, another bunch of posts There isn't too much to testify about, but one thing does come to mind.

I want to testify about God's provision.

For most of July and August, I had been praying about finding a Job and thinks weren't looking good. I do not drive, so my options were very limited. However, God knew I wouldn't be driving yet, so he gave me a place to live right across the street from the College I graduated from. At least I could apply fro Jobs on campus. However, things did go so well. It was the last week in August and I was jobless and pretty close to pennyless. Needless to say, things were getting tight.

It was the first week of September when I was told I would finally be asked to come in and sign a contract to work in the admissions office. However, to make things worse, I was blaimed for a very high Power bill and my house mate was refusing to pay more than 1/4 of it. Not only did I not have the money to cover my month's rent normally, but I was getting a rate hick just because my house mate didn't like a bill.

It was closer to mid-september when I finally started working. I was broke, but just at the right time, God provided me with a Job. At the end of the month, God provided by proving to my housemate that I was not the cause of the high powerbill and he agreed to split the bill fifty/fifty. I am no where near rolling in dough, but I have what I need to afford food and my bills. God is providing just what I need, and I learn to be faithful with what He gives me, I'm finding I have just a bit more than I need.

God is a God who cares for his people, and I am so glad He provided for me, and I praise him for it, which is why I posted this thread here!

Praise God Tim, isn't HE wonderful how we dress in the Armor of God and though this armor nowhere covers our back, isn't it wonderful how Jesus is always there doing the covering for us as we face our battles with hope of Christ in us. We serve an awesome God Tim, the determenation of your faithfulness makes HIM shine in your life.....Amen.

Blazing bones, I bless God with you. I bless Him for answering your prayer and providing a job and giving you the wisdom to be faithful with what He has placed in your hands. His Word says that if you're faithful with little, He will put you in charge of much. I might be going on about stuff that you already know, but keep in mind His principles of increase: tithe faithfully, give generously and live wisely. I am currently praying and searching for a job and I have found this to be particularly encouraging...His principle of seed, time and harvest...as it concerns His Word though. I realized that the verse that tells us that we cannot reap what we have not sown is true. If I'm not planting the Word where it concerns my prosperity, then I'd be expecting a deviation in a law set up by God when I expect prosperity to come my way. I have now embarked on a journey to planting the Word of God in my heart concerning every single situation...it feels good, my spirit man is healthier! I have spoken a whole lot, but I feel that that word was laid in my heart for you and everyone else in the need of a voice other than those in the world. God bless you and increasse you, may He cause His face to shine on You and give you peace. Blazing bones, you're answer is on the way... ;-)

Thank you Highly, it's always nice when a story from one Christian can encourage another. That's why we testify to God's works in our life in the first place, isn't it?

This is the Day that the Lord has made; let us rejoice & be glad in it

GOD is good. He will never let us down. He is always there and he is never late, he is always on time. May God Bless.

An Addition

(after much more posting)

There isn't too much new to testify about. Perhaps the best thing I could share is that through the last several months God has not stopped showing me more and more of his ways and how I can follow him as he equips me to follow.

I guess I've learned that I can only effectively follow our Lord when I am putting the gifts He's given to me to work, and not trying to claim things I do not have for myself.

All I can say is that God makes us all unique to serve him, and it's only when we accept that very uniqueness that god can truly begin to use us the way he desires.
