t there are more references from isaiah's and jeremiah's future babylon that would exist in the end times with the bood of revelation's babylon. Anyone that actually reads it will have no doubt that a real tangible land is being described.

Hello KJ,

I agree that if you consider Isaiah, Jeremiah as well as Revelation and others, that a clear picture of what 'end time' babylon will look like... and it is certainly a land (or nation). It would be interesting I think to post here a list of the attributes of babylon that we find in the prophets, and then look for a land that matches those attributes (if any) rather than taking a preconcieved idea and looking for scripture that supports it....

Here is one attribute: it is a debtor nation

'...Woe to him who stores up what is not his: how long can it last! he loads himself down with debts. ' (Hab 2:6)

Peace!
PJ

"babylon" is the human(666) religion/spirituality (viz. which is not of the true God), or the striving of (the) human to rule spiritually others as a God, namely this is actually the sin from the beginning, according to the written:

This is not the context in which John is using the term "Babylon."
Neither does the context of Rev. 13 and 17 support the idea that either of them have something to do with the church
