[__ Prayer __] need prayers for 3 month old Grayson

Our youngest daughter, Sasha, had a best friend in school named Brittany. Brittany divorced her husband last year while pregnant because he was a drug addict and refused to quit. She had moved in with her sister and her pregancy continued until on Febrary 14th, valentines day, she called my wife Debra and asked for a ride to the hospital as her water had broken.

I was working out of town and couldn't be of any assistance but Debra took care of everything and brittanys' son grayson was born on Valentines day. He was about a month and a half premature and had some intestinal problems requiring surgery to correct.

Yesterday we recieved a call from Sasha that a caregiver had fallen on top of the baby causing severe injuries to the childs brain. He is sufferingg brain hemmoraging, in a coma, and in general in really bad shape. Currently the baby is in ICU at Willis Knighton hospital in Shreveport, Louisiana. Debra is trying to arrange that we can go over there and pray over the child but they are saying no visitors allowed. Without Gods' intervention this child will most certainly die within the next day or two.

Please add Grayson and his mother Brittany to your prayers.

Thanks Airdancer, we haven't been able to get in touch with Brittany since we got home from church. Talked to Sasha a little while ago and there is no change in Graysons condition. I think Brittany is asleep somewhere in the hospital, she has been there for over 24 hours now.

Years ago, a young woman I knew suffered a traumatic head injury. She was in a coma for a couple of weeks, and then in a semi-conscious state for another week. Her parents were told their beautiful 18 year old daughter would be a vegetable most likely for the rest of her life. Three days after the parents were told that news, their daughter woke up. The prayer chain for her, back in the pre-internet days, spread around the world.

God's blessings - what we sometimes call 'miracles' - exist. He hears our prayers. He does everything in His time, according to His will. He's always with us, and He's with baby Grayson.

We just got off the phone with Brittany, Graysons mother, and there is no change in his condition. The Dr.s told her his brain is leaking blood and it is deep inside so there is no way they can operate to stop the leak. Currently he is breathing on his own but is unresponsive to stimuli. The Dr.s say it is too soon for any prognosis they will just have to monitor him and see what develops. i have to leave tonight to go out of town on a job so I just ask that yall keep praying. I will check back in when I get home but that may be a week away. Thanks again, Cleman and Debra.

I just got back home from a job in south Texas, and have I got a Praise Report for The Lord to tell you!!!! I think it was Tuesday that I left and Debra and I sat and prayed together holding hands for a while as we did. Debra was picking up Brittany the next morning to take her back to the hospital and I gave her a bottle of Rose Scented Annointing oil and a bottle of Baptismal water to take with her. We had discussed it with Brittany and she wanted the baby baptizxed and annointed and prayed over. She Dr.s finally agreed to this as they thought the baby would probably be dead by tomorrow anyway. Since I had been called out of town the task fell to Debra, who was ordained with me, I as a minister and she as a witness of The Lord Jesus Christ.

Debra picked up Brittany, and she had already called the hospital for an update of Graysons condition, there was no change. Grayson was still unresponsive and his brain was still bleeding. Debra said Brittany hadn't slept in several days and was on the verge of a nervous breakdown. When they arrived at the hospital and entered the ICU unit where Grayson was he woke up!!!!!!! Now before they even put the annointing oil on him they were standing at his bed and praying and he woke up!!!!! I have tears in my eyes right now telling yall about it, I cried when Debra callled me and told me.

The Hospital ran a cat scan and otheer test on Grayson after he came out of his coma and found no evidence of brain damage at all. He is now acting normally, eating and following his mother with his eyes as she moves around him. This is an absolute miracle. The hospital is still holding Grayson for observation until sometime next week and then he will be released to go home with Brittany.

Thank all of you for your fervent prayers, and that from me, Debra, Brittany, and Sasha. I'm sure Grayson will thank you too when he is old enough to talk, LOL. God is Good, all the time. Jesus Christ is The Lord and our eternal intercessor with The Father.

Edited to add: Debra Baptized thee baby after he woke up, in the Name of The Father, The Son, and The Holy Ghost. They also annointed him with oil and layed hands on him and prayed for complete healing and divine protecction.

I won't lie, I cried some myself just reading that. That is just...amazing. I don't have words for it. I'm so happy for all of you!

Lord, I just want to thank you for working so powerfully in this situation. Lord we thank you for your mercy and your grace, and Father we just love you and praise your name. All the glory belongs to you. Please Lord continue to be with the family and just cover them with your presence and your peace at they begin to move forward. In Jesus' name we pray. Amen.

I don't know if most people really understand how big a miracle this is. Debra and I have lost several family members to strokes over the years and are well aquainted with what happens when the brain bleeds. Blood instantly destroys any brain tissue that it comes into contact with. I don't mean injures or traumatizes, it destroys brain tissue, irreparably dead instantly.

Grayson had a blown blood vessel in the center of his brain bleeding for nearly a week, zero brain activity for that entire time, a large cloud of blood showing on the mri half the size of his entire brain. I would guess his chances of survival at less than 1 percent. His chances of waking with no apparent ill effects, absolute zero percent. Absolute zero is the point at which it just can't get any colder. I think it is the appropriate terminology to describe Graysons chances of full recovery. Make no mistake, this was a direct Miracle from God. One for the record books. I have been thanking God every fifteen minutes ever since it happened. May our Father, the Lord God Almighty, richly bless every one of you who prayed, whether you posted here or not.

I have to add this also. I didn't find out till yesterday that the woman who fell on Grayson did not report the incident until the next morning. When the Child could not be awakened and the bruises showed up on him she finally confessed to what happened. She is now in jail. The Dr.s said the childs injuries looked very much like shaken baby syndrome, but no charges of that have been filed. Yet. personally I think it was an accident and the lady was just scared to tell what happened, hoping the baby would be ok. I imagine she could use some prayers also.
