Okay, guys so the old weather thread went kaputt, froze up, etc., through sheer weight of posts.

Its replacement thread became a dead link.

So now: you've got it: the new, improved version.

Okay, so I'll set the ball rolling again:

......................

Ontario: warm, sunny and dry. :cool

Austin, TX: Oddly its coldish and wet. about 75. (Typically we have already had 10 days straight of 100) We haven't had any. My garden is loving it.

Jena in Germany:
Started with rain and fog in the morning, then good sunny by noon, and in the afternoon (just when I wanted to go out and run a few kilometers) we got a thunderstorm with heavy rain (I had to turn around after 100 meters). Short before sunset the weather was good again (so I could finally do my running and watch the sun set while on the way).

Claudya: Turned back after 100 metres...? What an anti-climax! :)

It was raining so hard there were rivers fowing on the streets. I was all wet after those few meters. That rain hadn't looked *that* bad from the window. :lol
Well it may sound like an excuse to skip excercise, but I did run like 5 kilometers later after the rain stopped.

Claudya:

Wow! I wonder what Markus Wolf would have made of it all? :chin

No idea at all. He was a secret service guy, so maybe he would have blamed to unpredictable weather on environmental pollution of the imperialist western countries? :shrug

Claudya: Surely Herr Mielke would have tried to insist that all that quantity of water coming down was unbedingt verboten...

Verboten especially during my jogging time. :lol
It's probably good for the plant life thought. Right now, during the vegetation growth time, it's very important to have enough rain. Especially since this winter lasted until April, so nature is a month behind.

Claudya:

It's behind this side of the Pond, too.

Yeah that was really a strong winter. When it was still snowing in april I was about ready to give up on spring and accept the new ice age. :lol
But in some weeks we won't notice the being behind any more.

Claudya: Very soon the tanners' swimming shorts and bikinis will be pulled out of the drawer. Funny how the seasons go round... (Genesis 8.36)

its been a hot day while I was reading meters on the beach. about 80 degrees . I didn't see any black racers in the water meters today nor in the bushes. thankfully

Warm but cool, around 67. no rain. i love the sound of rain though. :)

florida. I read meters now. that means Im really out in the weather. only rain that is real hard or lightning forces us to stop.
