I might reduce the drop shadow a bit.

I thought the posts and quotes would be easier to see like this.

I reduced the drop shadow from 5px to 3px. Amazing what a difference of 2 pixels makes! :biggrin

I have glaucoma and have lost about 1/2 my eye sight. White backgrounds after a while is really hard on the eyes. Is there any way for a user to switch to a darker background theme? Just curious.

Not at this time. It takes a lot of effort to customise a different theme.

Have you tried turning down the brightness and contrast on your monitor?
