This thread is a thread for just general discussion of college issues.
:x Urg! I'm so sick of school! How much more work can my professors possibly pile on me?!
I'm sure they can pile on more than we want to know.
Some weeks they are really nice. others, the noose does cross my mind. :
This open chat needs a topic...any night owls around?
I still don't see why an open chat thread never caught on...
Let me try to fire it up again! :-D
I know! Work just keeps coming! I sometimes feel like I'm drowning in a pile of doom. Especially when the end of the semester hits. I'm trying not to get caught up in the absolute doom by doing my papers and projects early... as you can see, I am working diligently. : Actually, I'm on spring break, so I'm not too diligent right now. : I will be later.
Darlin', I think it's because there aren't too many college folks around here...Btw, this is my 400th post 8-)
Awesome! And that may have something to do with it.
I'm a n00b that's college age ;)
Hooray for finals being over and one part of my senior exercise being over and only one more semester and all tuition paid(excepting loans, but we shall ignore those for now)!
yaay, we have a :newbie
I'm glad finals are over too. We finished up last week
Oh I forgot! I'm so glad all my graduate school applications are in! I can finally see the finish line.
We did too, phew.
Yes, yes, you do have a newbee. *nods*

The shades are awesome.
yeah they are...great for falling asleep behind in class.
Thanks for the idea!
I'm such a habitual sunglass wearer outside that people tend to comment on it...I might as well look cool inside, eh?
If you can get away with it, why not?
You make a fantastic point. I will be sure to earn the nickname hollywood in class!
Multi use objects are always great. Another star for shades 8)
I realize I'm double-posting...Sorry moderators.
I just wanted to point out though that I'm in the final stretch of my senior year so I won't be around here much at all until I graduate in May probably (can't wait!).
Good for you! I just finished my first year and I'm starting my second tomorrow. Long road ahead of me, but I'm looking forward to it.
Looks like this thread isn't used very often any more but didn't want to start a new one. I just recieved a rejection for one of the schools I applied to for transfer which is depressing because I was pretty confident I would get in. Anyone else go through that? How do you not let it get you down?
