I think as humans we get so caught up in our own struggles and problems that we forget that other people have bad things happening to them as well. Everybody is always saying "oh I went through this and that so don't act like you have it hard." The arguments continue and it just becomes a matter of who has had the worst life.

It shouldn’t be an argument because it should be common sense that there are those who of course have it far worse than us first world people who are beyond spoiled. We are so blinded by technology. Soon it will be everything to almost everyone except a few odd balls like me who hates it but, yet, is having to use it because no one wants to talk. People would type than speak.

I seriously think being humble and content is part of core doctrine. Its really important.
It’s kinda hard to be content knowing kids are starving to death and I have no way of helping them until I get into a position where I’m finally able to contribute to helping others. I never realized how important it is to have a vehicle and a driver’s liscense. I just can’t bring myself to trust one of those agencies where you donate to the poor. I pretty sure that none of the money donated goes to the people that its intended for. Same with the church tithes, you never know what they will really do with the money. People need to be fed and stuff for hygiene. It is best to bring stuff to people who are homeless items of necessity. Unfortunately our city has offically made it illegal to feed the poor as well as the homeless and have created benches that prevent sleeping on them. They have also set up spikes all over the city in places where the homeless are trying to find shelter. Its disgusting how they are treated. The people who own amd run this city are cruel.

Being content is just appreciation for what you do have not expecting or wanting more. Because there is nothing to boast about in this world. The world is sick.

No there isn’t anything to boast about, but there is no way I can be content especially in our circumstance as of right now. Hasn’t anyone ever been beyond frustrated because you want to help and save people out of devastating and heartbreaking circumstances. The problem I have with God is his tolerance and patience with people torturing and brutally abusing, women, men, children and precious babies. I’m glad I didn’t have kids and bright them into this world because I would blame myself if they were ever bullied like I was. I couldn’t bring myself to bring a baby into to this world knowing how cruel and ruthless people can be especially in positions of power.

It would be the death penalty for them. I wish they would hring back the death penalty because here too murder and homicides is becoming a real problem and the numbers keep rising. That is why we live in the outskirts of the city. Soon it will not be safe to live in the NWO cities. So many killing each other with guns and stabbings. The stabbings are getting worse too. I know of 3 peole who are wanted right now for murder and one of them is my brother’s best friend Willy

and the other was a girl who was best friends with my cousin and she was dating my cousins best friend. Her boyfriend ended up overdosing on drugs and she was in my biology class trying to straighten out her life like the rest of us but a month before her finally exams, she did something that would take her life away completely. She had so much potential. I didn’t find out until I got to class and of course no one wanted to talk about it or inform except one arab lady later who whispered in my ear that Megan stabbed someone the night before. Here is her news story and she only sat like 5 ft away from me in class. She was extremely gorgeous and had a very pretty face. I never got involved with that crowd cause they were all very aggressive and loved to get into fist fights and best people up by lynching peole. The whole city is filled with miderable angry people. It’s brutal on the streetd too.

Yes the world is sick and very vain, selfish and mean. Nothing I have means anything to me or is of value. All I need is a small cozy little house, my cats, my hubby. A cozy place to cuddle up in a small living room perhaps? Don’t eant to forget food in our bellies, the nutritional kind and nit the junk food either. There are so many 3rd world countries that need a lot of donations and sponsors that need help to bring agriculture to their countries so they can learn to till the land and harvest from it.

Philippians 4:12 is one of my favorite pearls in scripture. It seems kiwidan is talking about this. If God has placed an urging on your heart to see to the needs around the world, good. But your anxiety might be in part due to your need to hear and receive the truth that He is in control. We will not eliminate hunger, homelessness and pain in the world, but we can take joy in serving Him to the extent we can. Jesus told His disciples we would have strife in this world but to take heart. He has overcome the world.

I just realized how that verse reads in the NKJV, which is my preferred version, but I like the way it reads in the NIV more.

"I know what it is to be in need, and I know what it is to have plenty. I have learned the secret of being content in any and every situation, whether well fed or hungry, whether living in plenty or in want."
 
I can't understand why everyone blames God instead of humbling themselves and go boldly before His throne of grace in time of need. God is giving everyone a chance to come back to Him, but yet many would rather complain about their situations and wallow in their misery instead of accepting the Gospel of Gods mercy and grace in whom supplies all our needs. We can either choose to be a victim of this evil world, or we can choose Christ who will help us walk through this world and allow His light to shine through us that others can have hope in their time of need. Yes, it is sad and I know it hurts God to see His creation become so evil, but it's not God's fault, but humanities fault for what is happening in this world. Matthew 25:34-40 is something all of us can do and need to be doing without excuse. A single can of food given to a food pantry or a soup kitchen will help feed a family if we all pitch in together.
