Because Christ Jesus was also the Son of Man, He experienced everything that man has been tempted with. Not only that, He was in agony and anguish to the point of sweating drops of blood, even to the point of asking the Father to remove this cup from Him.....but nevertheless, your will be done. (Luke 22:39-42).
Even more, He was hungry, He was homeless (Matt. 8:19-21), He wept (John 11:35), He was rejected by the religious and was plotted to be murdered (Luke 11:49-53), He was tortured and made fun of, (all the time knowing), He was dying for them (John 19:1-24).

(1 Tim. 2:5) makes it clear, There is one God and One mediator between man and God and that is the Christ Jesus. You see, Christ Himself is interceding before the Father, therefore, He is able to save them completely for those who come through Him, because he always lives to intercede (Heb. 7:25). The Holy Spirit is constantly interceding for us, even when we do not know what to pray, when we just know we need God mercy (Rom. 8:26-27). Let us then with confidence draw near to the throne of Grace (Heb. 4:16). God answers prayer, not on who is praying, but on prayer, according to His will. If you have confidence in God, He will answer. (1 John 5:14-15). He is our only and eternal intercessor and our Sabbath Days Rest. (Hebrews Chapters 4 and 5) Study them, it will give you a closer walk with God.

Prayers requested in Scripture by the Saints (2 Cor. 1:3,11; Eph. 1:16; Eph. 6:19; Philippians 1:19)
Search your hearts, We need more Spiritual prayer for body of believers and our missionaries.

Prayer is not always genuine until a man is hurting or grieved. Take a look at the world and the United States decline into immorality and murder. If that does not make you pray for the return and the strength of those out in the field who are against such things, Well?

2 Chronicles 7:14 If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land.

This nearly appears to be a hopeless task, but therein lies the way we take.

Heb 5:8 Though He (Jesus) were a Son, yet learned He obedience by the things which He suffered;

Then we see Saul of Tarsus on his way to Damacus. Act 9:16 For I (Jesus) will shew him how great things he must suffer for My name's sake. (What?)
Then we are told to follow Paul as he followed Jesus in 1 Cor 11:1. (A life of suffering?)
Php 3:8 Yea doubtless, and I (Paul) count all things but loss for the excellency of the knowledge of Christ Jesus my Lord: for whom I have suffered the loss of all things, and do count them but dung, that I may win Christ,

We have chosen to pick up our cross to follow Christ who has called us to Him and we have heeded His call.

John 15:18 If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you. 19 If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you. 20 Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also. 21 But all these things will they do unto you for my name's sake, because they know not him that sent me.

Jesus is Lord of the Sabbath. It doesn't mean the Sabbath is no longer relevant. It means Jesus, who was God that declared the Sabbath day to be Holy, is the same Lord that determined the day of the Sabbath that was to be kept Holy.

Wherein does Jesus say in his ministry the Sabbath day no longer is relevant?

Hi Sythe, The Scriptures were the source, and by praying so, and having His Spirit were the results and witness to me of God's promise to answer to prayer. Not material prayers,House, car, money, But as sons of God and joint Heirs with Christ, we are called to preach the Gospel, Pray for the victory of the saints in today's planting of the seed for God's harvest, and we are to take care of widows of the Church and feed the poor (In Christ's name). For one day the Church will rule with Christ, so be that we share in his suffering that we may be glorified with Him (Rom. 8:5-17). I also pray to Him when I'am distressed about sickness, health, loss of loved ones. Christ has shared all those things in life. I pray for all men...that includes you, for you are no different than me.

It is in my spirit to want to know Christ and the fellowship of His suffering Philippians 3:10.

Our Sabbath rest is in Christ who is our mediator before the Father who defends us before God as Satan brings accusations against us, Rev 12:9-11. Jesus said it is lawful to do good on the Sabbath day as we fellowship with Him, Matthew 12:1-13.

Yes Eugene, You do not hear that teaching in the visible Church. They will preach Christ suffered for us, as if thou, now we don't have to suffer anything. It hurts the Spirit in me, They have made God out to be a bank, a Walmart, or Car salesman (Church of Laodicea Rev. 3:14-22) It is not that God will not provide, for He does, He provides to the Saints in their time of needs, for they ask for the will of God.
