I have serious problems with poor circulation and high blood pressure. Does anyone else have this health issue ? What kinds of home remedies do you use > Supplements > Herbs & Spices > Healthy Recipes > Exercises ...

I'm hoping and praying that I can avoid or at least postpone surgery .....

i have a different set of issues ((mostly...sadly...'psychiatric'...sigh...)), and I've found Orthomolecular helpful. Its massive doses of some vitamins. You can do it with diet, exercise, some prescriptions (I do OM w/ my tranquilizer...seems to reduce adverse effects...).

The version I do was started in the 1950s, based on earlier research. It was originally called Mega-Vitamin therapy for Schizophrenia, and the old school formulas focus on B3 and b-complex, with vitamin c, e, etc. in the mix, but playing a smaller role.

In the late 60s, Linus Pauling came around and coined the term "orthomolecular." He wrote extensively on the use of high dose vitamins in all sorts of conditions. He ended up focusing on vitamin c and some other supplements (I wanna say lysine was in the mix) for cardiovascular concerns+cancer.

Pauling died of advanced prostate cancer, but...to be fair...he was in his 90s. Dr.Hoffer, the psychiatrist who started the version of OM that I do, died recently. I think he was i his 90s, also.

Anyway, I go to this website: www.doctoryourself.com

His opinions are not my opinions. I take supplements with "standard treatment," to good effect. I think Linus Pauling wrote several books on supplementation for cardiovascular concerns. I don't know what his position on conventional, prescription (or surgical) treatment was. I would assume one could do conventional treatment with vitamins, but I'm not any kinda expert.

    I hope you can find a work-able treatment. :)

I've heard not to take to much potassium pills. bad for kidneys or something.
Always best to eat the nutrients needed.
