JOHN THE BAPTIST

He wore clothing made of camel's hair and ate locusts and wild honey, and baptized people in the river Jordan. (It was after being baptized by John that Jesus was led to the wilderness to be tempted by the devil.) John later was executed by the ruler Herod; as told in Matthew chapter 14, Herod granted the demand of Salome to "give me the head of John the Baptist here on a platter."

THE APOSTLE PAUL

This guy was beaten, persecuted, had OBE's of the Third Heaven, and was in prison half the time....

He is responsble for "interpreting" the Gospel and the founder of much doctrine to this day.....

He died as a martyr supposedly.....

Hardcore in regards to faith?

I say its a draw.

Hardcore in regards to their physical person?

I'd say John the Baptist.

Hey, I didn't realize they had color cameras around in Jesus' time. It looks like John either wants to stomp the camera or take a round or two out of the photographer. Btw that's not a staff, its a kindo stick... .

John, the disciple whom the Lord loved. This was a faithful man.
Stephen was also a force...Even Christ stood as he was being stoned. Of course, I do not suppose he was among the twelve, but still a martyr. Either way, I imagine they all had special elements that made them "hard core" in their own way. The Lord bless you.
