2nd Peter 3:16..

(Paul) speaking of these things in all his letters. Some things in these letters are hard to understand, things the ignorant and unstable twist to their own destruction, as they also do to the rest of the scriptures.""""

Here is something interesting about that verse that you might also consider, or discover.
Did you notice that Peter is describing and comparing Paul's letters and the Holy scriptures with >Equivalency<?

Notice...."(Paul's writings) and the rest of the SCRIPTURES".
This is dynamic equivalence.....of a sort.
As in... 2 sources that have attained the same level of importance based on them both being the same, regarding their AUTHORITY.
Do you know what this means?.....It means that an Apostle (Peter) is attributing to Paul's letters the same exact degree of authority that he attributes to his Holy TORAH.
Peter is stating that Paul's writings are exactly the same in value and authority as the Old Testament scriptures.
Think about that for a while.
It'll be fun.. !

After you do, then consider that Paul wrote most of the New Testament's content.
95% of "Church Doctrine" came through Jesus, from Paul.
Paul is the one who revealed "Justification By Faith".
Paul is the one who tells you about the 9 "Gifts of the Spirit".
Paul is the one who tells you that the Law is fulfilled by Jesus and abolished with respect to its power to condemn you or be used against you, in eternity.
Paul is the only Apostle that was killed, went to heaven, then was resurrected.
Paul is the only Apostle who explains how to be a Bishop and a Deacon.
The Body Of Christ is served by 5 Ministry offices....and Paul listed them.
Want to know about a Christian's sex life?.....Read Paul.
Want to know what the "Gospel Message" is?......Read Paul
Want to know about the vengeance of the Lion of Judah when He returns?....Read Paul and The Revelation.
Want to know about the Rapture and what happens to the dead in Christ?......see Paul.
Want to know about the "full armor of God" and how to pray for the sick?.......read Paul.
Want to know who was "blameless in the Law" but considered all his personal good works (dung) as compared to the Knowledge of the Grace of God Through Christ Jesus?....read Paul.
Want to discover how the Devil operates within the church, and maybe your church?.....read Paul.
Want to find out how to deal with Temptation?...... read Paul.

Want to know why all who are confused about OSAS and are worried they might lose their salvation are going to remain in this mental bear trap?... Its because you have not spent your baby Christian years growing in the knowledge of Grace by living with PAUL's epistles that are devoted to discipling you into the knowledge of the ATONEMENT = Romans, Ephesians, Galatians, Colossians, Philippians..

Its because you have not had your "Heart established by GRACE" yet, by living in those epistles so that God can reveal to you, through Paul, THE LIGHT that Jesus himself personally gave Paul to teach you SPECIFICALLY about God's Grace..
Thats why.

Was Peter talking about Paul's letters as a whole, or was Peter talking about Paul's interpretation of the Scriptures - as he did a lot of(rightly of course).
