Hi and welcome Jesus lover. I do not know of a specific scripture referring to pets, but the following verse talks of their eventual place.
Ecc 3:21 Who knoweth the spirit of man that goeth upward, and the spirit of the beast that goeth downward to the earth?

Yes, it does! Nathan tells David a parable. It involved a man who had a little ewe lamb who loved the lamb like a daughter. Another man came and killed the lamb. David was so incensed and moved by the story, that he wanted the name of the man who killed the man's pet lamb in order to bring him to justice.

I think the sacrifices were often pets- it would have made it more difficult and kind of been analogous to what God suffered when offering Christ.

I don't know how an agrarian people like the Israelites would not have had pets. It often goes together, farming and making a pet out of some little animal.

Does it mention pets in the bible?
Yes

2Sa 12:1-3 Then the LORD sent Nathan to David. And he came to him, and said to him: “There were two men in one city, one rich and the other poor. The rich man had exceedingly many flocks and herds. But the poor man had nothing, except one little ewe lamb which he had bought and nourished; and it grew up together with him and with his children. It ate of his own food and drank from his own cup and lay in his bosom; and it was like a daughter to him."

And the Lord God said, It is not good that the man should be alone; I will make him an help meet for him.

And out of the ground the Lord God formed every beast of the field, and every fowl of the air; and brought them unto Adam to see what he would call them: and whatsoever Adam called every living creature, that was the name thereof.
Genesis 2:18-19 KJV

I have a friend who made their own tee shirt with a sharpie marker : "If my golden retriever isn't going to Heaven I'm not either!" :lol
All comes from the power of God. And I believe the animals I've adored in my life will be there when I die.
Luke 12:6
Are not five sparrows sold for two pennies? And not one of them is forgotten before God.

18 I also thought about the human condition—how God proves to people that they are like animals. 19 For people and animals share the same fate—both breathe and both must die. So people have no real advantage over the animals. How meaningless! 20 Both go to the same place—they came from dust and they return to dust. 21 For who can prove that the human spirit goes up and the spirit of animals goes down into the earth?
