Okay so if you are considering buying as a b-day gift, for a young relative who has moderate gauges, some plugs in a suitable size, does anyone consider which material is best, whether stainless steel, acrylic or wood? I know it can depend on the individual's skin and earlobes, to some extent, but I wondered who knows a bit more about it?
Some plugs with a button-like front look just like earrings anyway (unlike the flesh tunnels which might be thought a bit radical).
