I love Pocahontas! It's one of my favorite Disney films and believe it or not the reason that I am asking this question is because I'm watching it right now before I go to bed. :) However, one of the things that has always bothered me about that movie is how the heck is Pocahontas suddenly able understand English and John Smith is able to understand her native language just by "listening with their hearts?" Lol, oh well I guess this is Disney we're talking about where true love at first sight exists (or sound in the case of The Little Mermaid) and not a lot of questions are asked. :lol

Sounds like the magic of movie making lol. It is a great movie on its own, but some historical accuracy would be nice, too =P

Maybe, but I personally feel like the second Pocahontas was too accurate. I was really disappointed with it because I really enjoyed her romantic relationship with John Smith in the first one even if it really didn't happen like that in real life.

I remember being excited to watch the second one, but don't remember all the details. Perhaps I should watch it some time. Makes sense though, the first one was good.

nothing haunted about this.

Awesome, (although I think it makes for a pretty lame story even though I wouldn't personally want to journey to a haunted location) but I think we shouldn't stray too far from the original topic lol :lol
