I have an idea. Seeing that this is the marriage forum and it's for married people only, why don't we share with each other our wedding pictures. I'll start us off......

This is my wife and I on our big day. We got married July 7th of last year. We just recently celebrated our 1 year anniversary.

Actually my wife is a brownish/blonde. I think the lighting in that room made it look red in that picture. I am a redhead though.

[MENTION=96367]jahjahwarrior[/MENTION]: Oh okay! Anyway, the ladies - my wife included - can so often change their hair color that sometimes only the privileged and initiated can really know what their natural hair color is...

I'm no expert on brides' (and bridesmaids') dresses, either; I do know that women go into raptures into their various features, and attach great importance as to where they are with sleeves, or sleeveless, or strapless, or whatever... (A big, big issue is whether the bride with or without tats, wants them to show, or wants her bridesmaids' tats to show as well; all to do with the design of the dresses also; but this doesn't need to be a thread about tats).

I got married 26 years ago, I think, heh heh. But no wedding pic of us/me here. Why? Lets just say for those about to get married "don't, I repeat don't ever get your hair cut the day before the Big Day or by someone you have never been to before!"
 
lol I have no wedding picture either. My husband and I eloped over 24 years ago and just never thought to take one that day. Our parents didn't even know we got married till months after. But I was never one for huge social gatherings or the enormous cost of having a wedding or dealing with all the preparations and seeming anxieties that come many months before it.

You guys all look beautiful!
 
I did not want a fancy wedding ... to my family weddings were religious to his P A R T Y time :gah Like Flame says too much stress.... i do wish we had a couple photos even a snap shot... 49+ years ago

This was Lisa and me way back in 74.I just came out of Police Training so the hair bit was quite the statement as well as the 70's pose.View attachment 3460 The drummer in our band also a Tony took the pics.Gee how I remember how serious he was .One would swear it was a full-on Oscar Production we were busy with, every shot had to be just right.
