Two and a half years ago I started injections in one of my eyes for macular degeneration. After some months the anaesthetic stopped working and the injections were extremely painful. They weren't helping anyhow. I now have peripheral eyesight.
I decided to stop having injections. The doctors tried to persuade me to carry on but my mind was made up. I still go for check ups. My other eye has different problems as a vein snapped right behind the central vision.
MD can cause all sorts of problems and I was worried.
Some weeks ago I talked to our Heavenly Father and asked Him to help me. If I lost my sight I couldn't help my daughter (she can't read and write), or my brother who ill and my friend. I told God all this.
Today I had to go for a check up. After the examination and the photos the doctor called me in. He said "I don't understand this at all." I thought what has happened now?
He said "This doesn't happen. It's a miracle. The MD has completely gone. Do you believe in miracles?" My reply "Yes I believe in God so I believe in miracles." He kept on checking the photos and examine my eyes, and saying It's a miracle.
I'm left with the scars so I can't see properly but if it doesn't come back I won't have the problems they expected me to have, and I can still look after those I love.
We have an amazing God of Love and Mercy. Thank you dear Lord..
