I had a very good day today. I'm pretty certain that it was because I invited. Jesus to come with me this morning in prayer.
I talked to Him quite a bit while we were driving around doing errands, paying bills!
My bank didn't want to close my account. I deposited a sizable check on June 2nd. They put a 10 day hold on my paycheck! Today is day 12 and no workie the card. (While advertising tv's roll saying checks post the next day.)
I refused to become angry though I'm sure many would have, lol. Instead I told them, what's wrong with the guys upstairs-back room? Everyone in the bank who runs it, are all very nice, professional and helpful when I come in ...you girls are awesome but if they dont to let me have my money on a whim and ignore standard procedure. ..I have to close the account, may I please have my money? ...and they (finally) said ok.
So I got to pay my bills finally, and opened a new bank account at a different credit union.
I have no idea why they were scared of that check? I have never over drawn this account. The only thing aI can think of is maybe that was for way more than a typical paycheck in this town? I dunno.
The only reason it was so much is because it was for 68 hour week. I hope that much workload doesn't continue all summer!
I was about to get my electric shut off_ couldn't get to my money!
But Jesus was with me, so everything worked out. U think credit unions are better than banks anyway, so that,s good .
I was a little apprehensive about calling off of work. I only been there a month. Still "proving myself " lol.
They blew my phone up. They had work scheduled. If they lost the install because they had to reschedule because of me...that's enough to make a guy a guy lose his job at many companies.
But I spent the day with the Lord, he was there. He's still here....so the company called in a friend of one of the installers to fill in for me...their new general manager texted me and told to come have a sit down with him monday morning. .uh_oh.
Then my regular partner there for installs calls me and tells me that after they loaded up and were driving to the job, the truck broke down. They didn't make it at all. The truck is serious and needs repaired. They saved the job too so nothing bad happened that was due to me calling off at the last minute at 7:30 am!
Then the office (3 different people) started blowing up my phone, are you working tomorrow? Please please be there...!
So everything worked out perfectly today all around.
Because I invited the Lord to go with me this morning!
Praise the Lord!
