Here is the latest on Jasmine.
Dear Friends and Praying Partners,

Haven't given you a update on Jasmine for awhile so wanted to give you the latest. From what my son John says Jasmine is doing good. She has been home for a few weeks now. She now weights about 8 pounds and is 23 inches long. Nicole has to take her to Gainsville to see her Pediatrician, heart doctor and Dietitian. She also has to have tests to make sure everything is going well. She is now a little over two months old. Both John and Nicole are doing good. They both like being parents but find there is a lot of work to it. They are still trying to get in a routine with Jasmine. She needs to be fed every three hours. John says with working a full time job and then a part time job at night at UPS means when he comes home for lunch and then home for the evening he helps out with Jasmine before it is bed time. Thank you for all of you have been praying for Jasmine. For John and Nicole. They appreciate all the prayers. I haven't been able to go see Jasmine yet. Waiting till things calm down some for them. I am getting impatient but just have to be patient. In God's time I will be able to go.

Hope each of you who are Mother's Will have a very special Mother's Day. To those who have mothers count yourself blessed. I am thankful that my Daughter in Law is a new mother on this Mother's Day. She is making a good mother. It would be nice if a child came with directions but they don't. lol

Thanks for the encouraging update, Chopper .... it's wonderful to learn little Jasmine is gaining weight and doing well :wave2

Sounds like John & Nicole are living through the early months of having a newborn in the house! My youngest thought it great fun to wake up every four hours at night, even at 6 months of age, just so she could laugh at our tired faces.

Here is the latest on little Jasmine.

Hello Everyone,

I was in Florida for seven days during Father's Day to visit my son John, his wife Nicole and my new grand daughter Jasmine. I was so glad to finally to see my grand daughter who will be 4 months tomorrow (Sunday, June 28). I had a wonderful visit. It was so good to hold and feed Jasmine. It was just a lot of fun to just sit and watch Jasmine do little things that a baby do. She is beautiful. She is very smart. She is gaining weight every month. She is a regular wiggle worm. She stole my heart. Can't wait to see her again when the Lord opens the door. John and Nicole have a lovely home. They make great parents who just love Jasmine. They are even talking about having another child in the future. Continue to pray for Jasmine. Continue to pray for John and Nicole.

Also pray for me as I seek guidance from the Lord in regards to moving closer to John, Nicole and Jasmine. I don't want to move so close that I want to see Jasmine every day as that would not be good. Pray that the Lord might open a door anywhere from 1 to 5 hours away. I am asking the Lord to open a door - might be a door where I can do ministry and have a place to live. Someone might need some one who is a Christian who needs someone to take care of them for room and board. It might be that someone needs some one to rent a room to help out with expenses. It is is in the Lord's hands. John wants me to move closer so I can spend more time with the family. I need to be where there is a VA Clinic or hospital. I need to be near a good church. I need to be near a bus terminal or airport or Amtrack so if I don't want to drive I can just hop on a plane, bus or train to go visit.

As I said I had a wonderful time in Florida. It was very hot but we had a good time. I was able to bond with Jasmine. I love her to pieces.

Such wonderful news about Jasmine and her family, Chopper !

Prayers continue for them as well as for Larry, that he will receive clear guidance concerning the move.
