Well, let me lay some info on you, so that you can see the situation im requesting prayer's for, more clearly.

I would think that many of you, who are familiar with a more wholly "faith" based Christianity, would be familiar with a believer who is strictly going to "trust in the Lord" and has no use for health care, or medicine.
You've known this type?
You were this type?
You are this type?
We are speaking about the Pentecostal type, the Word of Faith group, or anyone who is a follower of anyone who is dedicated to the Kenneth Hagin type theology-ministry, especially where it deals with " faith healing".
This is the Ken Copeland, Billye Brim, Creflo Dollar, Keith Moore, Jesse Duplantis, ..... group.....and others.
And im not here to argue their theology with you, one way or the other, but i wanted you to realize the mindset of the person whom i know, who needs our prayers.
Its a woman, she is 71.
She's been saved since '1977.
Very strong believer, and a very good Christian.
One Child, 3 Grand Children, and 3 Great Grandchildren.
Loves pets...........hugely adores animals, like they are her children:).
Great cook, great with conversation, loves the bible, and knows the word.
Loves to share Jesus with anyone she can.
She has studied K. Hagin theology (that started with EW Kenyon), and is ultra convinced its the truth.
So, there is no talking to this person about going to a doctor for health care or getting any glasses for vision issues.
Follow me?
I eventually was able to get her to take vitamins, but it was years to convince her they are not drugs.
So, ive learned that If i try to be direct and kind and even suggest she goes and gets help with an issue, she will become "off the chain" and will accuse me of trying to cause her to lose faith, or even worse, they'll just disconnect from me.
4 times she has had a severe rapid heart rate issue.......im talking 22O bpm, for hours and hours, and finally i was able to drag her to the ER for a shot that solves this in seconds.
But it would take me half a day or night.
Very frustrating person, in this regard, and honestly this situation with her has really my friendship with her to be very very difficult at times, over the 20+ years ive known her.
And once again, i'm not going to judge this behavior, as, there is no dealing with it, and i know this from much experience. = It is what it is, regarding these type Christians.
But therein lies the issue.....
The issue is that i noticed her bare feet today when visiting, and she has Necropathy in both her big toes.
In other words, they are rotting on the ends, and probably from undiagnosed Diabetes, tho it could be a serious circulation issue also that is not related to Diabetes.
But im pretty certain its Diabetes, as this person eats sugar constantly and sleeps way way too much in the daytime.
And you cant talk to them about sugar, as they are convinced that as long as its not "white" processed sugar, then you can eat it all day and all night.
She eats organic cain sugar and all types of candy, and will argue with you till your ears are ringing and tell you that the sugar in fruit is not the same that you read on a box that says "sugar".
So.......very difficult.
Very.
Drinks Apple Cider vinegar likes its soda, using it on salads.
So the issue is..... her toes are getting black and i could see the rot, ..
Not pretty and needs to be dealt with ASAP.

So, im really not sure what to exactly ask you to pray.
But i think she needs to go get health care for this while there is some time and hope that the problem is not yet too severe to be controlled, but, no matter what, im not certain they will be able to save her right big toe.

So, however you feel that she can be lead to get help, please pray for Pam.
And i know you will pray for her healing, and i thank you in advance.
She is just the finest person, but, in this case, she is going to resist and resist and resist me.
Thats why im here.

God bless,

K

wow. i got a lil bit frustrated just reading about this situation. praying. :)

So many details, so little time.
Another thing about Pam, is that she's literally witnessed healing manifestation(s).
This is the person you want to call when you are sick, to agree with you.
She's THAT person.
She has literally seen a person with no eyes, (just socketz) be given eyes by Father God, and this right in front of Pam's eyes while she was praying and believing in a prayer line for this person and looking at their face.
God has also given her a vision, a revelation of heaven...... that happened, literally.
She has years of this to consider and hold unto.
This woman is up before 4am, 7 days a week, and its all about the Lord and fellowship.
Pam is the real deal.
She toured around with a healing evangelist, Mae Stafford, who herself was healed in a Norvel Hayes meeting, right out of a wheelchair she came......permanently disabled for life, = no more = HEALED.
So, Pam has such evidence in her literal personal history regarding God and the supernatural, that this just seems to shut off her faith in anything man-made, such as health care or meds or even prescription glasses.

Im a bible believer and a true believer as much as i understand the situation, but im also someone who understands that wisdom has balance, and Christianity without wisdom can be dangerous for more then just the zealous one.
The thing about real faith, is that it demands that you believe that the impossible = "all things are possible with God".
And so, if you have cancer, or something that is going to kill you unless you are healed, and that is all you will do... then that is ......
= Interesting.
I personally dont believe that allowing yourself to suffer, when a doc or a med can solve it, is the way you prove your faith.
"Healing", all healing, after all....... is temporary, as no healing is going to keep you from dying.
Healing is to keep you from suffering, and to restore you to function and quality of life, and ministry.
So, if your issue is healed, then its healed,...GREAT....... but you are still going to stop breathing at some point.:)
"it is appointed unto man, once to die", and that means ALL.
And That situation, unless Christ returns for you, is not going to be "healed".
So, no matter the healing, its still only a resolved situation that might let you die a little later then you might have, otherwise.
Thats God's Grace, and Healing is God's Grace, just like Salvation and Eternal life are also God's Grace, given to us.

There ARE believers, so strong in their faith, that they believe its a lack of faith to have health care applied to them, for any reason.
This is a difficult situation for Pam to maintain, and its a weird place for me to operate, also, regarding such a good good good friend of mine.
On one hand, i have an obligation to save the woman's life, save her feet, save her future from harm.
I am now obligated to tell her Son.
Yet, Pam will view this as .."why didnt you just believe with me"...., as if im betraying her by letting people that love her find out.
She'll mark me as the bad guy, once i take any step to help her that is not just "believing with her".
Been there and done that.
Seen that movie tooooo.......... As if.....if i had any real faith i would just be silent and BELIEVE with her...
See it?
This is a "stuck" position for me or any like me who deal with this type of Christian, as im going to be accused if i try to get her help or tell her Son, yet, if i sit silently and her feet become truly without a solution, then .......
So, it can be a no win with these type believers, in a way, no matter how much you are trying to do the right thing, even if in the end they are HELPED by health care, instead of being divinely healed.
My position?
Pray first, believe...... seek God about it, give it time.
Or, let a med or a doc or a health care situation be allowed to heal.
Its all healing, if you can just see it in the right perspective.
Its all good, if you end up WELL. <
You are not a lesser Christian if you visit a doc because you are suffering, and you are not a greater Christian if you end up suffering and dying for your "faith", regarding a health issue.

healing is....a complicated, nuanced thing, I think. My older, wiser, Pentecostal friend, Verna, believes in miracles and healing. She also encourages me to take my tranquilizer until The Lord wills to make me whole and able to go without it, taper off, etc. Balance, like you said.

Are you sure its all about her faith here? Not trying to psychoanalyze, but some people have serious problems with the medical establishment, often based on bad experiences. Even Verna, who worked in the medical field, is getting burned because of some incompetent doctors she's dealt with. Happens, I suppose.

Anyway...thanks for bringing your friend's needs to us, so we can all pray for her.
