British Islamism? YIKES!!! :shocked! OK, I'm stumped.... how and where did British Islamism come into this conversation??? :confused
Really! I'd like to know that as well. :confused
As would I'm sure a few Muslims that may happen across this thread thanks to crawlers posting it to Google & Yahoo.

O Good Grief!

I would have thought folks had enough common sense to at least look at something first before they publish their response for the whole world to see. Hmmmm. Especially a moderator.

We mods make dumb mistakes like every one else... well this one does..... :sorry

Common sense shows us that British Israelism has just as much credibility as British Islamism. I.E. None.

Wouldn't matter if it was credible or not, there is no relevance either way in God's eyes:

Romans 2:28 "For he is not a Jew, which is one outwardly; neither is that circumcision, which is outward in the flesh:
Romans 2:29 But he is a Jew, which is one inwardly; and circumcision is that of the heart, in the spirit, and not in the letter; whose praise is not of men, but of God."

Galatians 3:28 "There is neither Jew nor Greek, there is neither bond nor free, there is neither male nor female: for ye are all one in Christ Jesus.
Galatians 3:29 And if ye be Christ's, then are ye Abraham's seed, and heirs according to the promise."

channukah is more connected to ad 70 as that is what the jewish teaching of the aod was.

so keeping the torah is the way to do that? uhm, does one read the torah during that holiday? ok so then why do we need the temple if our bodies are a temple?

Nope, Hannukah, Chanukah was the celebration of the cleansing of the Temple by Judah the Hammer and his followers and the lighting of the lamps. They only had enough consecrated oil to burn for one day but miraculously the lamps burned eight days. So, Hannukah is a celebration of the cleansing of the Temple and the lamps burning after the Abomination of Aniochus IV Epidemes.

The miracle wasn’t the oil. There is no mention of oil in the entire account of the Maccabees. The miracle was that a handful (a remnant) of God’s people rose up, defeated the “invincible†Romans and reinstituted the worship of God on His Altar!

See how the tale of the oil subtly turns our attention away from the Altar?

It takes 7 days to consecrate an Altar. The 8th day is considered a "new beginning" because it is the 1st day that the Lord's presence (His glory) comes into the Holy of Holies and tabernacles (dwells) with men. That is why Channukah lasts for 8 days.
