Not sure where to put this question, so I'll throw it in General Talk. I've been meaning to ask someone how to quote another post with their name. I can quote by highlighting the text and hitting the quote button, but I don't know how to insert the original poster's name. I used to be active in another forum where I could put but that doesn't seem to work here.

Humm, that is a good question. I have seen others do it, but I didn't know how so... I just typed in bold letters

Jojo Said

Skipped a couple of lines, and included the "Jojo said" in the brackets. I know that's not the right way though
:rolling

I always go about things the hard way :yes

You need to wrap the name that is inside the brackets in quotation marks You have to remove all the spaces I placed in this example and it should work.

Not quite sure what you mean to relay, when you hit the quote button that shows up in the top right side of the original post the whole of what they wrote in the post automatically shows up in the reply window and you can then just write your reply underneath it and then hit submit.

Ha! Thanks, Relic. I never thought to use the quote button on the post itself.

I still can't do it WAAA

Kelli, it didn't work for me at first either. But then I realized that I needed to delete the part where Relic wrote "
" JoJo " said:

" because it was throwing off the quote. Then it worked. Try it on a different post and see if you can get it.
