I realize that I seem to have this problem a lot and I really can't seem to figure out why. Anyway why is that even when I separate my comment from the quote I posted that it shows up in the message that I quoted instead? Just curious because I really would like to know how to fix it.

I'd have to see the BB code. My guess is that you're not properly nesting the quote tag.

Quote this post and we'll see.

That's just it. Sometimes it works for me and sometimes it doesn't. I will go ahead and send you a link to a thread that I want you to see anyway because it happened on there.

I have pasted the source of your post in the thread you linked. This is a post where the quote didn't work. Take a look. You have posted your message before the [/quote] tag, at the end. You must post after that tag for your message not to be embedded in the quote tag.

When you create a post and insert a quote, the cursor should automatically place itself after the quote. Perhaps you accidentally moved it? If you're on a touch device it's probably not too difficult to do.

[QUOTE="for_his_glory, post: 1439321, member: 1581"]Hi Chassidy and welcome to CF :wave2

Chassidy, you never walked away as I believe you truly never knew Gods grace and mercy. God knows this world is evil and that is why He sent His only begotten Son Christ Jesus that we can have life abundantly through Him, but we have to believe in God's grace and mercy and be Spiritually born again from above where Christ sits at the right hand of the Father, John 3:5-7; Romans 10:9-10; Colossians 3:1-4.

Ephesians 2: 8 For by grace are ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: 9 Not of works, lest any man should boast. 10 For we are his workmanship, created in Christ Jesus unto good works, which God hath before ordained that we should walk in them.

There is nothing we can do of our self as our righteousness is as a filthy rag to God, Isaiah 64:6. It's only by the grace of God that we are made clean again by the blood of Christ who sacrificed His life for the love He has for everyone.

2 Peter3: 9 The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness; but is longsuffering to us-ward, not willing that any should perish, but that all should come to repentance.

God is not going to beg us, but does draw us to Him as He is drawing you right now calling out to you as He does not want Chassidy to perish, but that Chassidy will have life eternal with Him when Christ returns.

Matthew 9:9 And as Jesus passed forth from thence, he saw a man, named Matthew, sitting at the receipt of custom: and he saith unto him, Follow me. And he arose, and followed him. 10 And it came to pass, as Jesus sat at meat in the house, behold, many publicans and sinners came and sat down with him and his disciples. 11 And when the Pharisees saw it, they said unto his disciples, Why eateth your Master with publicans and sinners? 12 But when Jesus heard that, he said unto them, They that be whole need not a physician, but they that are sick. 13 But go ye and learn what that meaneth, I will have mercy, and not sacrifice: for I am not come to call the righteous, but sinners to repentance.

Jesus came to call the sinner to repentance as we are all sinners saved by His grace for there is no righteousness found in self. Did you know you are that whosoever in John 3:15 that needs to believe? You do believe in heaven and hell and you tare not a lost cause, but a lost sheep Jesus is seeking to find.

Umm... I will only say this one thing because I really don't want to start a heated debate, but I do agree with For His Glory on the fact that you are not a lost cause. If you were, why would you be so angry at something that you didn't think existed? The point is we all go through troubling times. A lot of us even have our doubts. But I came to learn a very important lesson that I believe everybody needs to learn on their own, but I found out that my faith is stronger.[/QUOTE]
