Research indicates memory can be enhanced by:

    4) Simply reading the information out loud to yourself helps most people to remember.

    2) Drawing a picture illustrating the concept.

    3) Tell someone about it. Read it out loud, summarize the new data, and tell another person about it in your own words.

    4) Additonal research on how telling someone about the new data enhances memory.

I remember research indicating that keeping a concept on your mind for longer than 6 seconds enhances memory. If you want to remember where you parked your car, focus your attention on your car and the surroundings for several seconds, not just one or two seconds.

I had a paper route when I was younger. Each customer wanted it delivered to a different spot. Only about 50 though.

It's weird, I was at a point when I was younger when I played in chess tournaments and clubs I've laid in bed thinking about games I'd played the day before and gotten up and set the board up exactly as it was to look at situations (up to 3 or 4 games) where I had thought of different ideas and reactions .. Also could remember measurements I had taken at work for weeks until I got back to that job, I rarely had to write them down .

its a curse at times. I don't work well with trying to remember things. I just do it . for instance. on my paper route( all of it is in the grid where I work.)
city routes or part of and whole
    1)whole
    a) flc route
    b) library route
    c) st helens route
    d) mcansh park
    e) fire station route
    2) part
    a) 31 st to 34th ave
    b) piper route
    c) taco bell route
    d)Waterford lakes
    e) Charles park
    f) city hall
    g) press journal route
    h ) 14th to 16th ave and 21 st to 24th ave route
    I)34th to 38th ave route

I can also recall the address and names of customers of both in some sections at will. usually the older part of the paper route.

I was 16 when I delivered papers. 50 was enough back then.

I used to play chess when I was younger. A fun game.

Bonded, wow. I used to just pick up the papers after school, and deliver them on my bike. My father used to deliver them when he was a boy, and told me to do likewise. Everybody did it back then. It mostly seems to be adults delivering here nowadays.

My parents told me to deliver the afternoon paper, so I guess that's the answer. Morning papers are different, as its still dark out.

Adults were off in Europe and Asia during WWII. Kids were the only option.
