That wasn't the topic of this thread. Why don't you start other threads to deal with these excellent topics you have raised.
gosh it appears i can,t please you next time set up guideline rules and i might consider them

it takes a balance there is no need to preach on hell every Sunday.
I wasn't suggesting anything about preaching about hell.
I was suggesting that there is a dire famine when it comes to preaching about Christians acting like ambassadors of Christ and ministers of reconciliation by loving one another, neighbors and even enemies.
We're so focused on preaching "not by works" that we don't tell people that we are the agents of the kingdom on God who are authorized to act like God and love the world. (Not the system, the people who were all created in God's image.)

We need to preach the Gospel at all times and, only when necessary, use words.

That's right. The communications medium called a "Forum" was invented by the internet team of Buttinsky and Kibbitzer. :)

Jim,

You got me there mate! Got an education with:
  • Kibitzer: ' one who looks on and often offers unwanted advice or comment a kibitzer at a card game; broadly : one who offers opinions' (Merriam-Webster Dictionary 2017. s v Kibitzer)
  • Buttinsky: 'a person given to butting in : a troublesome meddler' (Merriam-Webster Dictionary 2017. s v Buttinsky).
Thanks for this education, Jim. What I did in commenting on another person's post is following the model of a forum set up by Buttinsky and Kibitzer.

Resorting to an appeal to ridicule fallacy does not help communication.

Don't you like it when people lend support to one another?

And it's totally allowed in a public forum.

aww but that is not communication.that is calling it like i see it. by all means help each other . maybe you can figure out which one of the 2 of you is right

Ezra,

Both of us were agreeing with each other. I'm wondering which train you are on. It doesn't seem to be on the train that leads to the destination of forum involvement, no matter who makes the post.
