Jesus promised his disciples that when He returned to Heaven He would send the Comforter. Chapter 5 tells us he had risen and ascended into Heaven when He took the Book. When Christ broke the first seal, the disciples were in the upper room and there was a rushing mighty wind.Christ kept His promise on Pentecost. The rider on the white horse was the Holy Spirit (Comforter). He conquers by conviction.

It is the norm to use scripture to support statements made in the Theology forum so I will ask if you have scripture to support your position which I have to admit I am eagerly awaiting........especially about the 'Book" Jesus took with him when he ascended to heaven.......

The Book He "took" from the hand of God when He arrived at the Throne.Sorry for not being more clear.

OK, I will get specific here....
I have no problem with the Comforter except he is not the conqueror. Where I do have problems is:
1. When Christ broke the first seal, the disciples were in the upper room and there was a rushing mighty wind.
Because:
1a. Christ did not break the 'first seal' in the upper room with the disciples. Please provide scriptural support for that if you disagree.
1b. There was no rushing wind that night in the upper room; that was on the day of Pentecost...
Acts 2New International Version (NIV)
The Holy Spirit Comes at Pentecost
2 When the day of Pentecost came, they were all together in one place. 2 Suddenly a sound like the blowing of a violent wind came from heaven and filled the whole house where they were sitting. NIV
This was over 40 days after the gathering for the Last Supper (which is what I suppose you are referring to when you say 'upper room').

The rider on the white horse was the Holy Spirit (Comforter). He conquers by conviction.

Rev 6:1 Now I watched when the Lamb opened one of the seven seals, and I heard one of the four living creatures say with a voice like thunder, "Come!"
Rev 6:2 And I looked, and behold, a white horse! And its rider had a bow, and a crown was given to him, and he came out conquering, and to conquer. ESV

If the Comforter conquerors by convictiion why does he have a bow?

I never said Christ was in the upper room

I didn't say anything about night

As for the Bow......How to explain......ok.....That sting you feel when you get convicted.
The Holy Spirit and Comforter are one in the same........He does conquer

I never said Christ was in the upper room
Then this is the most poorly written sentence I have ever seen:
When Christ broke the first seal, the disciples were in the upper room and there was a rushing mighty wind.
because that reads that Christ broke the first seal with the desciples in the upper room and there was a rushing wind.
Sorry I have to ask but is English your 1st language? If it is not, that would explain a lot.
I didn't say anything about night
Neither did I......

Are you making this up on the fly cuz it sure sounds like it......?

Such a position would have Revelation (penned circa 95AD) describing a past event (Pentecost) circa 33 AD.

How do you explain this?

John was shown everything.Remember Jesus told them them Spirit would them all things. He was shown everything pertaining to the Church.

I cannot imagine how you associate the rider on the white horse who is sent out to conquer with the Holy Spirit.
Where in scripture does it say that the Holy Spirit rides a white horse, carries a bow, and conquers?

The rider of that horse is satan

This first seal we will see in detail in the ninth chapter. It takes place after the fifth trumpet sounds, Satan is the first morning star to come. This event will catch many Christians off-guard, for many tie themselves to the '"rapture doctrine", and will worship the Antichrist as the true Christ, in ignorance. This is why the rapture doctrine is so dangerous, for it ties its followers to the first Christ to come, who is the Antichrist.

The rider of this white horse is not the rider of the white horse who comes with a rainbow around his head, and a rainbow around the throne he leaves. This "bow" in the Greek is a cheap fabric, or imitation, In the Greek it's called "toxon". His grandeur will be cheap, yet convincing all of those who are looking for the rider of the "first horse" to fly them out of here. The Antichrist will offer them all they desire in fulfilling their wishes.

Word References:

"bow" - 5115 toxon (tox'-on); from the base of 5088; a bow (apparently as the simplest fabric): KJV-- bow.

In the nineteenth chapter we will see the true Christ coming in all his glory, and then this first rider of the white horse will go to the pit. The first rider of the white horse does not come in war, for no arrows are mentioned; but in religious peace. This is important to remember, for it could bring about your downfall through deception.
