Greetings to you in the love of Jesus Christ

Is the the mark the Bible has warned us about??

That's kind of scary if you look at it that way. Some things that I have thought about (and I am sure have already been mentioned somewhere on the forum) are our Social Security #, Facebook.

I agree 100%. This commercial looks so innocent and yet we know the Devil disguises himself as a angel of light. I believe this is just the beginning, it's starts with the medical information and then it will later be added to have our Social Securities numbers, driver license (MVD reports), banking/credit information, insurance information etc.

This is very scary stuff, but when I see this stuff Jeff. I praise the Lord even more! Because we are the generation that is watching His Word being fulfilled!

Yes, I agree it looks very innocent. I wonder who's idea this particular chip is and what organization is behind it. If that even matters because the people that invented it could be innocent as well and then it falls into the wrong hands.

Exactly - the people who created this may be in the business of trying to save lives and think they are doing a good thing. The problem is, the technology is now available, and it can fall into the wrong hands of an organization or political agenda to keep the world under 'big brother' either way though, the technology is now here to implant chips into our hands (soon our foreheads).. You won't see me or anyone in my family taking ANY chip in our bodies :grumpy

That is a very scary verse when we think about it. I just pray that the Lord calls us home before this dreadful time on the earth!

No doubt in my mind, but that those who stand, must stand by His grace. True dependence upon His grace will stand the test. Only those who commit the error of Peter, and boast in their own power to remain faithful, will not endure.

Right, I will do everything I can to defend/prevent this from happening to me or my family.
This is where I believe some discussion on other topics on this forum like gun control ties in. Some have said Jesus would not have us using guns. This would be an example where we would need to defend ourselves. If of course they tried to use force to accept the chip. Sorry if I am getting off topic

You're right on target with your response, our liberties are slowly being taken away from us. And in the future when the Antichrist rules over all the nations, and we have a one world government and a one world currency, the USA will no longer be bound to it's Constitution that it was founded on. We are slowly seeing the Constitution being questioned more and more as times moves forward today. But how can the United States have a Constitution during the reign of the Antichrist? I don't see how it can be possible.
 
The mark of the beast is voluntary. Anything that can be forced upon you involuntarily, such as an RFID chip, is not the mark of the beast. There is nothing physical that anybody can do to you that can keep you from Christ.

I think the scripture says that folks would not be able to buy or sell without this mark? So then the condition that one must receive some mark is not voluntary, but if one wants to buy and sell they will volutarily receive this mark.

Revelation 13:16-17 He causes all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and slave, to receive a mark on their right hand or on their foreheads, and that no one may buy or sell except one who has the mark or the name of the beast, or the number of his name.

That sounds forced upon if we want to sell or buy anything! This would include groceries, basically every day essentials.

I think that is the point that Atonement is making? That we see that our relationship with God will be tested by coming events? I agree that some form of "mark" is going to be established at some point. I would not be surprised if it somehow related to what Atonement has shared with us?
 
Except an RFID isn't a test, it's something that can be physically forced on you while you are unconscious. You could wake up and not even know it was there inside you. There is a difference between being forced to choose between groceries and God, and being given no choice as to whether you are identifiable by some technical marker.

Thats fair, and I am not saying that I think this chip is the "mark" but I do think it shows how a "mark" such as this chip, is in the world now. That as believers we should consider that some sort of world system, would now have access to these types of things that could be used to fulfill certain scriptures we see as warnings?
