Acts 16:31. Simple. Easy. Unambiguous.

In fact, it is so simple and narrow that the vast majority find it hard.

Matt 7:14~~New American Standard Bible
"For the gate is small and the way is narrow that leads to life, and there are few who find it.

“Truly I say unto you, he that believes on me, has everlasting life.” Jn 6:47

.

It really is sad. A ~sigh~ for the truth of His SIMPLE(for us)salvation, And I haven't seen a ~sigh~ for the attack on our Lords character and nature for ?.

Yes it is a good verse. The Bible has tons of them. But I see it for what it is. Which is why the sigh. Maybe things will be different this time.

Yes he that believes which biblically means trust, commit and obey has eternal life.

Those who believe for a while, then no longer believe, are no longer believers.

But the ones on the rock are those who, when they hear, receive the word with joy; and these have no root, who believe for a while and in time of temptation fall away.
Luke 8:13

  • who believe for a while and in time of temptation fall away.

Do you have a scripture that says believing in no longer required after Initial salvation?

I still have a dream, a dream deeply rooted in the CFNet dream – one day this Forum will rise up and live up to its creed, "that genuine believers are born again by the Holy Spirit of God, and are indwelt, baptized into the body of Christ, the true church, and sealed by the Holy Spirit, and thus, unable to be separated from the love of Jesus Christ." Yes, I have a dream, that we will stand on the the whole counsel of scriptures. The most critical doctrine in the scriptures: The salvation of the soul; eternal life.

This will start with defining what biblical phrases actually mean:

  • Inherit the kingdom of God.
  • Believe
  • Lost vs Found
  • Salvation through Faith
  • Death; The context of eternal death vs natural death
  • The resurrection of the dead in Christ
  • The Judgement seat of Christ
  • His own servants
  • Departing from the faith

Act_2:17 And it shall come to pass in the last days, saith God, I will pour out of my Spirit upon all flesh: and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, and your young men shall see visions, and your old men shall dream dreams:

Can we be separated from the love of God in hell?

Invitation to any and all Mod's and Staff at CF.Net to evaluate this post and the scripture presented, please comment.

4 “What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it? 5 And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. 6 And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!’ 7 I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.
Luke 15:4-7

Can one of His sheep become lost?

  • I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.

Jesus uses plain speech so everyone will understand:

  • A lost sheep has returned to being sinner [unbeliever] in need of repentance.
  • The sheep must repent in order to be "found" or "saved", just like an unbeliever must repent to "saved" or "found"
  • Jesus does not force the lost sheep to repent, any more that an unbeliever.

This is just one on many teachings from the Lord that put's an end to the OSAS doctrine.

Lost = Sinner who is need of repentance; dead to God, in need of salvation, reconciliation to God.
Found = Someone is is reconciled to God; saved.

  • Lost Sheep:
I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance. Luke 15:7

  • Lost Coin:
Likewise, I say to you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.”
Luke 15:10

  • Prodigal Son
It was right that we should make merry and be glad, for your brother was dead and is alive again, and was lost and is found.’”
Luke 15:32

Can we be separated from the love of God in hell?
Not genuine believers who are born again by the Holy Spirit of God, and are indwelt, baptized into the body of Christ, the true church, and sealed by the Holy Spirit.

Per this site's statement of faith and per
John 3:1-6, Acts 1:4-5, Romans 8:35-39, Ephesians 1:13-14 It just cannot happen.

But in these late days, not all deacons (servants of the church) believe this to be true about genuine believers.

Even though we have Biblical example after Biblical example of lost (yet still loved and searched for "until He finds") then found sheep, lost (yet desired and searched for) then found coins and lost (yet loved the whole time) then found son. Amazing really.

The question was: Can we be separated from the love of God in hell?

Yes or No.

Does Jesus force sinners to repent, or do they have to make a choice to repent?

Define "we".

If by "we", you mean genuine believers who are born again by the Holy Spirit of God, and are indwelt, baptized into the body of Christ, the true church, and sealed by the Holy Spirit, then NO. (see my previous answer as to why reposted here ⬇️ for your convenience).

Does a justifed person need to repent?

I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.

Does Jesus force sinners to repent, or do they have to make a choice to repent?
No, Jesus does not force sinners to repent.
Your turn:

If a just person becomes lost, then they must repent, just as the example Jesus gave us.

One of His sheep among 100 becomes lost.

That means there are 99 just ones who are still following Him, and one is who lost and is as a sinner who must repent, just as an unbeliever must repent.

  • The 99 are still just
  • The one who becomes lost, is as a sinner: [unjust - unbeliever, disobedient]

4 “What man of you, having a hundred sheep, if he loses one of them, does not leave the ninety-nine in the wilderness, and go after the one which is lost until he finds it? 5 And when he has found it, he lays it on his shoulders, rejoicing. 6 And when he comes home, he calls together his friends and neighbors, saying to them, ‘Rejoice with me, for I have found my sheep which was lost!’ 7 I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance.

No a justified person does not need to repent.

Is a lost sheep just, or a sinner in need of repentance?

Case Closed!
