Yes, but how many people are touched by Christian worship music while having no idea of the sin that takes place behind it? To them it is music that glorifies God and expresses their hearts to God and they in turn use it to bless God.

God meets us at whatever level we are on so as to draw us near.

when i listen to radio and play my christian music i often will see the theological errs on the simple stuff.

i listen to the word while i throw my papers.

and i said not all of it is bad. but much of it is nothing but redeem blah, mixed inspirational with the idea of christ tone down so that the lost wont be offended.

The Lord cannot return until the Bride is "spotless and without wrinkle." That means that He Himself will purify the Body of Christ from celebrating Christmas, yet He hasn't done this in the thousands of years Christians have been celebrating. If He were to do this, His people will obey Him, and stop celebrating Christmas.

The Lord uses secular music to touch my heart as a believer. He has often ministered to me with secular song lyrics and all I could do was sob and sob because of the immensity of His love. Go figure

They weren't worshipping an idol of a false god. They were worshipping the Lord that had lead them out of Egypt. They were worshipping the right God, but in the wrong way. And what was His reaction? He was going to destroy them. God doesn't want us worshipping Him using Pagan woship practices. When we take the Pagan festivals of Saturnalia and Natalus Sol Invictus, combine them into one and give them a new name and then say we're "doing it for the Lord", then we're actually doing the same thing the Israelites did with the golden calf.

She was quick to ask for forgiveness and asked me to go out to dinner and share the gospel with her. The Lord turned my mistake and bad judgement into an opportunity to share the Gospel. He can redeem anything and anyone.

Not all Christian artists are living in sin while they glorify God. Those who are will have to answer to Him.

i am forced to celebrate at my wifes beheast,but we dont have trees. and for a time i did celebrate it. but i started looking at the idols in my life and i feel that its not good for me to do so.

It's festive and fun. How many families go out pick out a tree from the tree farm together? How many fathers and sons go out and cut a tree down themselves. How many have special days and traditions where they play worship music and decorate the tree and then share Scripture around it? These moments of love are done in the name of the Lord and to glorify Him. This moments bless the Lord's heart!

I've had enough of your snobbish insults.

You have no idea where I have been and how the Lord's love has restored me. He has been healing me for years from the cruelty of such legalism.

When my mighty God who has lovingly rebuked me and corrected me in often painful ways comes to me and tells me not to celebrate Christmas for the reasons you state, I will do so. Until that day, I will continue to celebrate the "birthday" of my Bridegroom. He cherishes my birthday and I as His loving Bride desire to bless Him and cherish Him in the same way.

Those Christians who killed the Jews must answer to God for their hatred. The Lord has since purified His people and given them a holy love and honor for the Jews.

The Lord sends many Christians to go and minister to the Native Americans and ask for forgiveness and bring them healing. He has purified the heart of His people and convicted them and burdened them to change their ways.

The Lord has led you to this and I bless you in this brother. He has not led everyone this way though.

Some Christians are able to handle a glass of wine with dinner and not get drunk; other Christians are unable to do this. Everyone is at a different place and walk with the Lord and we as Christians must honor the work of the Lord in others lives.

By your use of the phrase "such legalism", are you accusing me of being legalistic? Legalism is usually defined as an attempt to earn one's salvation by keeping a set of rules, usually the O.T. law. Can you please point out to me where I have made any connection between celbreting or not celebrating Christmas and a person's salvation?
