I asked this:
"Where is this total assumption found in Scripture. That one of His sheep become NOT one of His sheep any longer???"

Once more, firing off unrelated questions to a question is no way to have a discussion.

But, to your point, let's take a look at all your so-called "proof texts":

Nothing here about a sheep who became NOT one of His sheep any longer.

So, I'll take this as a non answer. You've got no support from Scripture for your opinions.

This sentence doesn't make any sense to me. We're ALL "as a sinner". So please re-word the sentence so that it makes some sense.

Another failed attempt to show a sheep becoming NOT one of His sheep.

The reality is that the son remained the son throughout. As did the father.

Without any explanation, I have no idea what your opinion of this verse is. So we'll just leave it there.

No explanation, so we'll just leave it there.

This is hilarious! That's exactly what you've been doing all along. Quoting other Scriptures as if they, without any explanation or exegesis, prove your opinions.

Here is a foundational truth: those given eternal life by Jesus will never perish. John 10:28

Here is some sad truth: your view is that some given eternal life by Jesus WILL perish. Totally opposed to what Jesus said.

No scripture here.

I asked you to provide scripture for your position, which teaches that those who do not believe, any longer have eternal life.

So far, you have not been able to produce it.

There is no need for any more of your theories, or opinions or "explanations".

Just post a scripture that teaches us that those who do not believe, any longer have eternal life.

Do you consider the impact you are making on young ones in the faith, and those who are weak? Is it just a flippant thing for you to rewrite words that the One who you claim as Lord said?

Is Jesus your Lord?

Nathan, ALL I DID WAS PUT INTO SCRIPTURE...EXACTLY WHAT YOU HAVE BEEN PUTTING INTO SCRIPTURE.
Now you have a hissy fit when you actually see the changes you and the rest of the OSNAS sect are doing.

A word of warning to the young ones.....becareful of what some people say.

I asked you to provide scripture for your position, which teaches that those who do not believe, any longer have eternal life.

Do we need to present the can't be snatched verse again?
If you would like I can cut and paste it and insert the wording you guys use to make the verse say what it doesn't say....but Nathan already reported me and got me warned about typing into the verses what you OSNAS guys are really saying in your post.

Believing is part of repentance....I surely don't want your style of repentance. Your style of repentance is unreachable.

So, He believed and repented. Good for him. He repented from his means of salvation and turned 180 deg's towards God way of salvation.

As far as being baptized to be saved...I'll leave that with the JW's and Mormons.

Repentance is part of believing.
After one believes he then must repent of his sins. Prove to me how belief only can save the impenitent person.

Christ requires water baptism regardless of what the JW's or Mormons or me or you have to say. I've never seen anyone offer a biblical logical argument against it.

The problem being for this theology is that if you actually can lose your salvation.....YOU ALREADY HAVE.
Then you cast more doom onto it when your theology states .....there is no second chance. Which means according to your theology, there really is no salvation.

How do you come to this conclusion?

Oh, OK Seabass...I suppose you have repentd of your sins. Considering you still sin it sounds like you don't have eternal life.
DO YOU ACTUALLY HEAR WHAT YOU'RE SAYING?

If baptism were a requirement then John 3:16 as well as the other similiar verses would have included baptism by water.
What you are telling me is that John chapter 3 doesn't provide the means of salvation....because it doesn't contain baptism.

How do you come to this conclusion?
Many of the OSNAS sect claim "repentance" is a requirement for salvation...and their definition is stop sinning = repentance.

Yet they still sin...which means they already lost their salvation.

When they sin they deny Christ. They tell Christ, to bad. I'm going to not follow you and do this sin. Once again their theology shows they have already lost their salvation.

2.4: No Trolling. Do not make an inflammatory remark just to get a response. Address issues not personalities. Respect where people are in their spiritual walk, and respect all others in general. Respect where others are in their spiritual walk, do not disrupt the flow of discussion or act in a way that affects others negatively including when debating doctrinal issues, in the defense of the Christian faith, and in offering unwelcome spiritual advice.

This thread is closed for awhile ... the topic is about one purposefully misquoted Bible verse away from being banned for a while..
