He's my parents' dog. He's 11+/- years old. He was abused before we got him, and its taken him years to get up to normal, house dog level playfulness, etc.

It seems that there's something wrong with his health. My mom's worried he might have cancer. My dad thinks its not that serious. At any rate, they're calling the vet tomorrow in the morning to get him seen ASAP.

When I was younger, I didn't attach to dogs very well. Now, I'm attached to Sebastian. He and the girl dog, Miranda, really brighten up my parents' lives (and mine, too). I don't want him to die anytime soon, certainly not in any painful sort of way. Still, I do recognize that every animal, every human being...has a time at which they/we leave this world. Happens.

So, OK. I ask that your pray with me that Sebastian can have some more good years with the family.

Thanks. :)

Dogs do have our heart strings. They are everything we ought and want to be. Lovable, and loyal.

Prayers for your Sebastian. May Almighty God make Sebastian's days and years many.

Our pets are part of our families. We have the responsibility for their care and well-being. We love them....they love us.

Sebastian is in my prayers, Christ_empowered .

I know it's premature to speculate at this time, but if it does turn out to be cancer, those lumps can be removed. That will help to slow down the process. My youngest offspring's little 5-1/2 pound dog has had several tumors removed, all cancerous. Little dog is only 10-1/2. She's rebounded from surgery in fine shape so far.

Thanks for the prayers! I think I have good news...

...the issue was digestive stuff. My mama is kind of the ultimate Puppy Mama; she assumes the worst whenever anything happens. Not always a bad thing. Certainly keeps the vet busy, that's for sure.

But, whatever digestive stuff was going on, Sebastian is better now, today. My dad (he's more rational about these things...and he doesn't like paying vet bill$ as much, lol) says its no big thing, but they'll keep an eye on him. Sebastian was playing and being feisty and such today. God is good!

Thanks again. Please keep those prayers coming. Both of the dogs (perma-puppies, as I term them) are getting on up there. Its interesting, because Sebastian is definitely an old man dog, but Miranda is playful as ever, she just doesn't jump around as much. My parents take very good care of them--they even get old puppy vitamins, every day--so that certainly helps.

:)

When you lose a dog it's funny how another dog will remind you of your dog.i.have read routes with a sasha look alike.one route has a dog that reminds me of Cheyenne's eyes and mannerisms.
