Hello, I feel shy about posting but I would just like to say I feel blessed to have found this site. I'm a struggling Christian, but I want to increase my understanding and relationship with Christ and find purpose in life.

Hi, and welcome to CFnet. My best guess is that The Lord has brought you here as part of His work in your life (and, in all likelihood, --our-- lives, too). I hope you enjoy your time here, and I hope that we can all build you up, challenge you, etc., and add a certain "something" to your life and your walk with The Lord. :)

I tell you both a hardy welcome. I will also caution both of you to read everyone that post here with "a grain of salt". All your beliefs should be based on what the Spirit has revealed to you, otherwise you are subject to receive doctrine that is based on what taught by men and not of God. I include myself in this also.

There are many here that have the truth of scripture as revealed by the Spirit to them. They compare scripture with scripture which is the biblical way to interpret scripture.

You will find posters that you agree with and also those that you don't. The moderators and Reba, the administrator are fair and even, sometimes, bend over backwards. If they "stripe your legs, you deserve it.

It is a place for great fellowship with other believers.

Hello, Ellen. Your post intrigued me. I am living and breathing the topic of meaning and purpose in life with my dissertation right now and just created a course on this topic. I cover a section on struggles and suffering. Praying 4 u. Be blessed.
