I have taken only one selfie in my life. I did it this past spring when I designed a birthday card for my wife and used my own photo in it.

That's actually pretty awesome!
Another great use would be for hunting!
Any good hunter knows the path the deer should be coming down, but if you look away for just a moment, you can completely miss them!
I cant tell you how incredibly boring this can be! Even if your watching, sometimes they simply appear out of nowhere! And they are gone about as quick!

But what if you could fly the trail and know they are coming! Or, what if you could fly their multiple trails!

Boom! No more boredom!

It was for a good reason.
I don't care for them myself,,,but I have a friend that takes many and she has a knack for it.

Here's one...I'm in there too, and hubby.

About the only time I usually set my phone for a selfie.this isn't one but yesterday's demand meter in a storage place ,that is the faster way of grabbing a read.I thought I still had that video.the video posted is a solar powered home (net meter)
 
every time I see the name focus the pejorative the meter shop calls them makes me chuckle. with those, stand a bit of a acute angle and the numbers will show different. that can cause a few misreads. sometimes we cant stand in front to get the read.

I'm with you. I used to be into photography back in my 20's, 30's -- I think that's it.

I used to know how to take selfies even back then .... you take a pix of yourself looking into a mirror. Easy. But what's the use of looking at yourself?

I agree with you, even about the natural poses.
