Amen again! There are countless symptoms that disguise themselves as the problem with marriages that cause couples to disregard the thing that needs attention. It seems to me, if there is a disconnect in the bedroom or in the home, their is almost always a vertical disconnect with the Lord. We seek to be completed by him or her, when we can only be made whole by Him.

As parents, we have a truly unconditional love for our children no matter how many times we feel they let us down. We give, give, give. Not so with our spouses. If we're honest, it's often seen as an exchange of servanthood. Get right with God, and you'll have that unconditional heart of the servant He's called us to have.
