Jason I am not only talking about this topic there have been others.
but you mentioned this topic that is why I don't. and I replied how was he being smart?

I don't see it and im not a keen to being challenged on my positions. gary is forward, and can be blunt and I have clashed with him but he is what he says. sincere. I don't agree with him on certain issues but I also know that I don't have to respond to him or talk about that issue. and even on that is more from an emotional reaction. we all have subjects that are really difficult to discuss. the worst for me is anti-semetism then onto pot legalization

and gary isn't anti-semetic..

Jason he has to me in certain post, and that is all that I am going to say about it. I am tired of dragging things out on this board. I don't want to do that all the time.

"Should a Christian go to war?"

A Christian is already at war if he is a Christian. He is on the battlefield daily fighting temptations of sin, temptations of the flesh, casting down thoughts and ideas that are not of God, etc.
Should a Christian pick up a gun, a handgranade etc. and use these weapons to kill another person because of a man- made worldly war....my answer is no

yet you aren't a Christian? you profile says you aren't. is that a mistake?

Some people avoid me because of my bluntness and ability to get at the truth. I choose my words carefully and leave the feelings and emotions on the sideline where they belong. It's very rare that I'll take anything personal, even if it was meant to be personal.

If my questions cause someone to become upset, the next question to ask is "why?".

People need to chillout. We're just talking here.

Why do you ask me this?? My profile is correct, I am not a Christian, I haven't received the Holy Ghost....................................yet
that isn't a perquisite to be saved but is after being saved. one gets the indwelling of the Holy Spirit but not the baptism.

an atheist or sinner telling me what isn't right for Christian ought to do isn't exactly keen in my eyes that is why I asked.ie if I don't believe the bible why would I tell others to live it?

John 3:5 - Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and [of] the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God.

For one to be a Christian, doesn't one have to : ask 4 4giveness, repent (turn away from sin), believe the Lord Jesus Christ rose from the dead so we shall live, be baptized with water in the name of Jesus Christ, and be filled with the Holy Ghost??

Now i understand why you asked me if my profile is correct or not. I totally see your point...... thank you for pointing out my error, as a non-Christian I don't have the right or authority to dictate what or how a Christian should do, live etc.... I was out of line.
However, I do believe the word of God, from deep within my heart I long to serve the Lord Jesus Christ with all my heart.........

1) being baptized and having the evidence of tounges is after the fact you are saved.
2) at the cross when you repent that HS enters you then.
3) baptism is NOT indwelling. the apostles weren't saved until Pentecost? that presents a problem. jesus said that one of them had a devil. if what you said is true then all 12 would be devils.

no its part of the package. though being a pentacostal is a good thing. I don't have the answer on the depression. I can only pray.

You know what Gary you always have a smart answer, that is why I don't like talking to you and I avoid you as much as possible.

I was going to ignore this, but you know what? This is really sad. Not so much that you dislike me, but because you dislike me for reasons you can't even explain.

You and I had a problem down in the Politics forum, that is what started my thing with you not this topic.

If I got angry with everyone that disagreed with me, I would be in a constant state of anger.

People need to learn to let go.
