Should Christians be lovey dubby happy people? This is a serious thread. The Bible says to love one another, but does that mean we have to put on a happy face all the time?
 
I think the answer to that is to look at Jesus' life and His reactions to people and circumstances. John 11:35 tells us that "Jesus wept" at his friend Lazarus' death. In the garden of Gethsemane, Jesus told his disciples, "My soul is overwhelmed with sorrow to the point of death." (Matthew 26:38) When Jesus was turning over the tables in the temple, he probably wasn't smiling at the money changers. From these three examples alone, we can see that Jesus didn't always wear a happy face.
