Should i start a small locksmith business or not-needs the advicea

Hey i want to start my own business as i have good knowledge in the work of locksmiths so now i'm thinking of to start my own locksmith business but i'm not sure about it because i dnt know it will be a profitable business or not? if anyone have some ideas or suggestions plzzz share them with me or contact me through the pme.

Hi lmoaceySus and welcome to CF.net. I also worked in locksmithing for some years, and there is a multitude of competition in larger towns, and much inventory needed in smaller towns due to the unavailability of resources. The businesses that make it are doing so in sales more than having a set of torsion wrenches, picks, and rakes and selling the occasional lock-set. Even with responsibility of probably five hundred safes we had little problems except when someone would wrongly set a new combination, and that was not a problem correcting. I suggest working at it part time and keeping your main source of income: eating is a good thing.
