At this point I'd say no. We live in a post Weinstien era and we're going to see more and more of this nonsense. However if true, there should be consequences. What exactly? I vote that they should punish him just like they did Bill Clinton for actually raping women.

Why raping? Everything was consensual that that I read, but then again it's one persons word against his. Now if a parent seen him at their house or something that would sway me, but so far it just looks like a smear campaign. Rumor mongering, which the bible condemns.

Bill Clinton raped. I don't know what one would label that Moore is accused of doing. I'm agreeing with you that it's a smear. Until there's actual evidence, Moore should stay the course.

Consider the target of these allegations and his political history. Namely, he's an open Christian.
That type allegation smears across the board. And when it happens now two and three decades later, it means someone's really scared of Roy Moore. Because, the propaganda smear campaign machine actors know that a sex abuse scandal tweeks the emotions of Christian Republicans.
And it also knows that all they have to do is put it out there in order to get Christian Republicans to be aghast. And they then figure the rest will happen in our own imaginations. So as to torpedo Moore's chances.

And the incredibly stupid republicans that have opened their mouths about it should shut up until there is actual evidence.

That's rather harsh. However, I think he should be made to step down due to his mental infirmity. Brain cancer is quite possibly what is causing him to act irrationally in office. His daughter travels with him now when he's in public engagements because he's that infirm. I don't see how someone who's mind is compromised by a tumor is let to remain in service to his office in the first place.

I think he's already turned Democrat while in the office he achieved running as a Republican for re-election this last time.

In his case it was 38 years ago, and I find it hard to believe such an allegation would not have arisen prior to now.

Should Roy Moore drop out amidst sexual claims?
    NO WAY!!!
Slander is a standard tactic of the Democrats.
They tried it against Clarence Thomas and failed.
They tried it against Herman Cain and succeeded.

They tried it against Donald Trump and failed.
Roy Moore should not be intimidated by this standard DNC cheap trick.

I notice that it was never an issue for Democrats when it became public knowledge that then presidential candidate Billy-Jeff Clinton is a sexual predator with multiple charges of rape.

PS: I thought it was a perfect "gotcha" moment when Trump had a half dozen of Billy-Jeff's accusers as his guests at one of the Donald-Hilary debates.

They might just be trying to prevent yet another "Trump-type" from becoming a political rising star.
Remember, the Republican party onl;y pretends to be the opposition of the Democrats. In reality, they both share the elite oligarchy. It's a "Punch and Judy" puppet show for all of us (in their minds) suckers.
    Don't be a sucker.

Let them bring a lawsuit and if statute of limitations has run out then let all congress vote and do away with statute of limitations on those crimes and others for all government officials at least .. They all seem upset enough about it .. They could limit the % of settlement for each year the victim failed to come forth after 7 yrs or so if they wanted .. I mean they all are so anxious to get things done and all .. Judge Roy Moore should bring it to vote when he wins the seat ..
