Should ship captains get sarcastic? Should anyone get sarcastic? Is it a sin? This is a serious thread by the way. :yes

Actually this is a good question, because I try to discouirage my children from being sarcastic, and I have tried to root this out of myself, but in the Word God is sarcastic and so is Paul when they emphasize points. With that in mind, I just wonder how wrong it is, or in what context it's wrong...it sure does feel rude and make one feel dense when someone's speaking that way. Hmmm, I would be interest to here what others have to say.

hmmmm :chin I'm not sure. I think there's a time and place for it, and not for it. But whenever somebody, including me uses it, it doesn't feel that nice. Maybe it is wrong?
