Hi Brother Jesse Burnell, I have no idea your perceived sin, but I do know God is a God of grace. Even after all Paul experienced in Rom 7:6-25 Rom 8:1 says "There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus."

Now we are to obey the laws of our land, and the alternative is to be corrected by those God put over us (Rom 13:1), and the consequence of no obedience can even reach our conscience according to Rom 13:5. Wherefore ye must needs be subject, not only for wrath, but also for conscience sake.

Going to hell? Have you believed on the Lord Jesus Christ? you do state you're a Christian. 1 Jn 5:13 These things have I written unto you that believe on the name of the Son of God; that ye may know that ye have eternal life . . .

I will certainly be in prayer for you Jesse, but I also ask that you read the following pamphlet I wrote to discover the security we have in Christ. Salvation with Security – 1, 2, 3

Thank you I will read it

I have been constantly giving into my sin. And it is sending me to hell. Please pray for me.
Praying.

The Lord Jesus did not come to earth and die for you so that your sins and weaknesses should be a cause to push you away from him. He came so that your sins and weaknesses would be a cause to push you into his arms.

Consider this carefully: it is possible that a Satanist can abide faithfully in death--second by second, minute by minute, month by month, year by year? So too is it possible for you to faithfully abide in the life of Christ continually even if it does not "feel" like you are in Christ in any given moment of your life. Does a Satanist have an advantage over you and I? If it is easier for a Satanist to abide in death than it is for you and I to abide in the life of Christ, then what kind of salvation do we have?

Jesus Christ has made a way for you to abide faithfully in the fullness of His life. You must come to understand what the Lord Jesus has done for you on the cross. The Satanist is not worried about falling out of death and into life. God has made a way for you not to have to worry about falling from life into death. You must come to understand this provision and how to abide in it.

Do you want to sin? Are you bringing your sin to Christ for Him to deal with? If so, then you are doing well. Prayerfully read and reread Genesis chapter 32, and ask the Lord to open it up to you. The passage is teaching us how to receive God's blessing and provision by grace through faith and not our ability to abstain from sin.

We must keep our eyes off of our sin while keeping them on Jesus.

Me : Lord. Help me with this sin You have shown me must go.
Lord : Do you really want to let go of the sin killing you?
Me : Yes Lord. I can't let go.
Lord : Give Me your other hand and I will help you let go.
Me : OK Lord
Lord : I'm going to make it so you must let go. Are you ready?
Me : Yes Lord make it so.
Lord : When I make it so you must let go, then you give me your other hand and never go back there again.
Me : Yes Lord. Thank you Lord.
This is a rough sketch on the basics of how the Lord helps me.

Sorry it took so long for me to respond. But I can do that.
Have you understood (Genesis, Chapter 32) why Jacob was blessed even though he did not obey (through the flesh) the command that was given to him to his face by God and despite his past transgression? What was the command?

God said "let me go."

Indeed, it was God manifested physically who wrestled with Jacob. Jacob confirmed this. Notice that the command was fulfilled, but not through Jacob's ability to obey the command; it was fulfilled through God's grace. When your sins arise to condemn you, then you have the same choice given to Jacob, dear Christian. You can either 'reach through' the commands (thou shalt not do this and that) to receive God's blessing, or you can do what Jacob did: He reached through God's mercy. Do you understand?

The commands of God are imperative in revealing objectively what sin is and to reveal to man that he is under condemnation outside of the work of the cross, but they were not given for you and I to have life in them. Indeed, if the life of Christ comes through the commands, then Christ had no need to die for you and me. God would only have needed to provide a series of commands and that would have sufficed. Also, Adam and eve had the life of God prior to any commands being given.

You have the opportunity to be exercised in faith above feelings. It was not according to feelings that you were brought into Christ and neither is it by feelings that you will remain in Christ. It was not by your ability to abstain from sin that brought you into Christ and neither is it by your ability to abstain from sin that will keep you in Christ. Do you understand?

There is a maxim that will help every Christian who understands it: namely, victory in Christ Jesus is a choice. Sin and death did not inter into the world becasue of some specific sin that you can name like lying, envy, adultery, etc. It entered becasue of choice.

Adam chose death.

Have you chosen death today? No? Ok then, rest in Christ and get your eyes off of your sins. God has called you, dear child of God, to walk in the liberty of the work of the cross, not in your ability to abstain from sin.
