Every parents worst nightmare. Definitely suspicious and definitely scary. I hope they find him to figure out what's going on.

I am thankful this girl ran inside and away from this situation.

I like the term "tricky people". I use this term, too, considering not all strangers have malicious intentions.

It is scary and kids probably don't think it will ever happen to them.

I remember playing in the backyard at my parents by myself. I was on the side that was visible to the street. I was about this girls age. A woman came up to the fence and she asked me, "Have you seen my little dog? (Gives description of dog)." I calmly said, "No." Then she asked, "Would you like to come and help me look for my little dog? I need to find him." In my mind, red flags went up in my mind and I ran as fast as I could and to the back door. I opened it and told my parents.

I remember this woman, she was average height for a woman. Her looks by society would be described as average, she was not ugly nor did she stand out with good looks. She seemed friendly, she was not wearing distinctive make up, she wore a shirt and jeans, and no super distinctive features or markings. She could have easily blended into a crowd.
