A traditiional choir is not the same as a gospel choir. The gospel choir is SUPPOSED to have feeling.

I think most of us have experienced both, and like both. Most of the Methodist congregations in the north are used to non-emotional, dignified worship services with very traditional, well known hymns. I've worshipped with Methodist congregations in the south that are far different, out of the pews, clapping, and Amening, and Halleluyahing. The presence of God can be felt in both.
