PS - Who Resurrected this post from the Way-way-back machine? I looked at the OP and it say "Wednesday" but then I noticed the 2012 reply right before mine. It was on the top of the stack before I touched it, folks.

"Something strange" is happening right here (too). :poke<Moderator>

It's called the Mandela effect.

I SWEAR this scripture and the others in the Gospels (KJV) related to it used to say wineskins, not BOTTLES!

Mark 2:22
And no man putteth new wine into old bottles: else the new wine doth burst the bottles, and the wine is spilled, and the bottles will be marred: but new wine must be put into new bottles.

I just got out my 1860 KJV to have a look. I can confirm from at least the mid 1800s the KJV says 'bottles' not 'wineskins' and has not been changed in the KJV over the last 150 years.

There still like a 250 year gap or something from the original so i dont know what it said.

I just got out my 1860 KJV to have a look and it smells musty. Its the only bible I got but i dont read it as its frail so i keep it preserved in a safe place.

That's what the Mandela effect proposes. That what we KNOW used to be there disappears, and is replaced/rewritten so it no longer reads like we remember it.

History is effectively rewritten. But the memories of it in our minds is still there.

Perhaps you were looking below Eugene avatar; he joined in 2012, and not the reply date?
"Hi and welcome Brother ChainBreaker. Want to elaborate a bit? :wave2

Just depends on the translation being used.....if in doubt look it up in Strongs.......

I figured out my little "mystery" and the problem as I now see it is: ME
(no surprise, right?)

When I looked at Eugene's Post my poor eyes mistook his "Joined" date as a "Posted on Date". Conclusion: Something 'strange' is going on here too. It looked to me like Chain Breaker posted his first post recently and Eugene, mysteriously, responded back in 2012(!). My quick mind (like a dim-witted fox recalling his youth) kicked in imagining all manner of scenarios. Maybe there was a name_change with a post count reset? No. Turns out the problem was, as I say, me. But in my defense, my reply was kinda On Topic, was it not? It is strange, or maybe that was me too?

he will get weirder
I tell people all the time, "Don't encourage the bird." But they don't hear me. Well, not until it's too late, that is.

I miss you guys and didn't plan to visit quite this often. Going where the wind blows isn't bad, sometimes. *wink* Last I seen you your "Message count" was a mere 10k or so."

Looks like you haven't aged a day but I'm sure you hear that all the time. It took your comment to remind me that I'm the strange. But I knew this. Somethings don't change. I still like the word "peculiar" as in, "a peculiar people," but that's only because God knows me and I like the way He says things. Doesn't that sound like He's calling His kids "strange" or to use your word, weirdos? Okay, peculiar then.
