[The Truth]

Whenever I feel abandoned, neglected, abused, rejected, unloved, unwanted, disliked, unfavoured, etc, my Spirit provides spiritual support by speaking words from Luke’s verse: Suffer little children…let them come unto me…for the Kingdom belongs to such as these. Luke 18:16

hi. i have a very special friend, named Verna. She's in her 70s and lives in another state. we've only met once. she saw my need (The Lord let her know, she says) and she gave me her contact info. That was nearly 7 years ago, and we've been in touch ever since. She's a solid, Born Again, Pentecostal Christian, and she's provided genuine friendship and godly counsel on a regular basis.

I'm thankful for her friendship. At this point, because of how The Lord has moved in my life, I'm a better friend to her than I was in years past, so its more give-and-take than it was before The Lord saw fit to do a lot of great things for me ("recovery from electroshock" being 1 --huge-- blessing, one which I desperately needed).

Romans 8:28 And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.

Sometimes my life seems crazy, but out of hard times and trials..........it is better once God does his purpose in my life. Everytime!
