Not every thread needs to be the fight of the century leave that to Frazier and Ali. sheesh
I think Frazier and Ali are dead now...

Ali I Know has a serious neurological disorder.
Can't remember about Frazier...But dang that was the fight of the century.

Awww...Both are gone.

I remember watching them two duke it out and sitting with my father to watch it happen.

It was Sugar Ray Leonard who did him in...But Ali won in a rematch. (Night time fight)

Them were the days of sports legends like Catfish Hunter, Fran Tarkington, Lyle Alzado, John Madden was coaching and Howard....Co.sell. even Bear Bryant. (Drawing a blank on Pittsburgh Steelers QB...He was still playing. Dan Marino played for the Dolphins. (We thought him a wimp for doing so)

And who could forget Mean Joe Green...Who did needlepoint and knitted.

Rosy Grier did embroidery also

John Madden was very good announcer ,,,i could grasp his XXX & OOOO
Maybe Mean Joe Green wore pantyhose to keep his legs warm when playing in snow.
I lived in San Jose CA at the time... Oakland Raiders had a patch on their eye because they walked to work. (Rough neighborhood even then) I remember John Madden jumping up and down on the sidelines with his blonde hair going crazy... I being a blonde as well noticed things like that. (Madden's hair was a darker shade though)
