Okay, who can show me how to load a picture onto my computer and then find it?
And then how do I load a picture from my computer onto the forum since it only calls for url's and nothing else?
I know I'm dumb but I think the stupid computer is dumber.
 
What do you have the picture on that you want to transfer to your computer?

I take a lot of pictures off the internet and they go on download on the bottom left corner of my computer but I don't know where they go from there.
I have a thing called pictures that have pictures I put there but I don't know how they got there.
I have photos with nothing on it.
I have picasa web but can't move any of those.
I haven't scanned anything on this computer yet, I'm afraid what will happen.
I have a picture on one drive that I don't know how I put it there.
If and when I can find downloads on my computer, there is nothing there.
Am I confusing you?
I sure am confusing me.

Side note: I must get ready for bed.
I have a 2 hour drive in the very early AM to take my wife somewhere she needs to go.
Please reply and I'll be back tomorrow evening.

some of mine were hiding in photo gallery in all programs

some i find when i am not looking for them then i cant find them again
 
Unless you have changed the default the pics should be in your download folder. Open up your file manager and one of the icons in the top half of the new window will be "Downloads". You should find your pics in there.

Are you using the Chrome browser as I am? If so, after the picture finishes downloading you can click on the down arrow next to the file you see at the bottom (see figure below) and select "Show In Folder" and it will open the download folder where the picture has been placed.

Another way to get to them is to click on the maintenance icon in the upper right corner of your screen and then click on "Downloads" to see your downloaded files. In the upper right corner of the Downloads window you should see the link to "Open Downloads Folder" and it will take you to the destination folder.

Oh, and by the way, you are absolutely correct. Computers are stupid. In fact, they have absolutely zero, nada, zilch, zippo, diddly intelligence.
 
Okay, I found downloads in administrative tools.
All my pictures are there.
How can I get them all in one place?
How do I put one of them on the forum.

I have that in my corner, but they seem to disappear before I can look at them.

Well, it sounds like you found them anyway. Apparently, your computer is dumping your downloads somewhere besides the download folder. Not a problem.

Anyway, if you want to place your photos in a specific folder, just navigate to the main folder where you want them, then make a new folder named "Pics" or something along those lines, then go back to where the photos are, on your keyboard hit ctrl-A, which will highlight everything in the folder. Then hit ctrl-C, which will copy everything you have selected. Now navigate to the new folder you made and hit ctrl-V, which will paste everything you highlighted in the other folder.

Once everything copies over fine go back to the original folder and you can then delete all of the photos from that folder.
