I was walking back from fishing wondering what i was going to eat because i had no food at home and i caught no fish and had no money. I was hungry and only wished i could buy a pie, and i thought to myself God is faithful and he will supply, then i looked down and seen a 10 note washed up on the rocks.

So i ate pie for dinner. :thumbsup

That's awesome! God is soooooo good!:sohappy

As Jw was walking to the dr office for a friend's script, God showed him a 5$ winning lottery ticket, plus 6 bottles and cans (10 cents a piece). Then on the way to cash it in he found 1$ bill then a few feet later another 1$ bill. Then after we tithe, and pay for the friends script. We find another few cans, and another bottle slip. When we turned in the bottle slip that was left by someone, we are given the other 2$ bottle slip that was turned in a few days before plus the cash from the one just found. God provided for all that we needed that day. Plus a few dollars left over for the bank payment that is due on the 1st. Glory to God He covered it all!

I think it's awesome that the members here will still ascribe the credit and glory to God for what to most seems like something small that it couldn't be God. God works in many different mysterious ways and though it may be a can of coffee or some pop bottles only, it's still the same God and power that parted the Red Sea so in actuality, there are no little miracles if you think about it. :)

Well here's another one for you, fresh off of Gods printing press lol. It also explains my absence from the board here lately. I moved (mostly so far, lol). We had to move and lower our overhead so looked around and the housing market bites right now. Everyone want 2 or 3 months rent, deposit, dog deposit, and even a requirement of renters insurance. Now Edward and Deen do not have that kind of money so wherever we move to have to take the into account, lol. So the Lord sent us a place to rent through referral. A place that the previous tenant lived for 20+ years, so it needed...everything.

All she wanted was for us to pay one months rent, and could we paint the place inside, lay new carpeting and lino, which she would pay us cash for enabling us to fill her all up with her this month this that month that and doggy deposits and so forth. Well...that's what we do is work so this was a blessing for us. Tada! I have a new crib now (LOL). We even showed a profit on it so to speak. We upgraded her paint, carpet and lino quality for her which costs more and she liked the idea. The paint was out of pocket, but luckily (ha!), knowing people in most of the trades, we were able to walk into a certain carpet supply store and get all the rug and lino at wholesale cost...and pay him in time or when we can. This guy we know (my son actuality) will probably want favors and wont even want cash for the supplies. Now thats my kind of miracle, lol! Praise the Lord! :)

Blessings to you all this morning brothers and sisters.

God has never failed anyone one time who has trusted ad obeyed him.

I hear lots of stories about horrible things happening to good Christians, but their is nobody good, but one, and good is not what moves mountains.

I lost my trucking job (my fault, not obeying the holy Spirit and did something opposite of what I knew inside) got behind on car payment, so bank sends letters about wanting the car and fees.

Hearing God all the time is good. Not good when those around you know that and bug you constantly, like the wife. The wife was really concerned about those bank letters.

"Did God say anything about our car?"

Not heard a word from him about it honey.

(Next day)

"Has God told you what to do about the car, did he say we should call them or something?"

Nope, I asked if I should call, but he did not say a thing.

(Next day)

"The man is head of the house, why has God not spoke to you about the car?"

Sigh, yes I heard God, he said I'll supply all your needs according to his riches and glory. More than enough there to cover a car payment. Now stop taking thought!!!

"You just quoted a scripture, are you sure you have not heard God on what we should do,?"

Honey, God said he would supply. It's already taken care of. It's settled. Not a problem.

A week goes by and we get a letter in the mail from the bank. In the envelope is our title and a thank you letter for doing business with them. We have no idea who our how our balance on the car was paid. We never mention any need to anyone but God. This was just 3 weeks ago from this post date.

Now if you want testimonies, taking thought (Matt 6:28-34) and worry (be careful for nothing kjv) (Phi 4:6) is one way not to get them. Fear cost Job, Peter walking on the water and will cost us.

Making needs known is leaning to your understanding and making people your source. It should not be if so and so don't come through, then it's God's turn. It should always be God's turn. That is a curse, the opposite of the blessing.

Jer 17:5 kjva Thus saith the LORD; Cursed be the man that trusteth in man, and maketh flesh his arm, and whose heart departeth from the LORD.

Get your scriptures out and speak them and meditate on them. If your not sure, use my stand by scripture.

Psa 138:8 kjva The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.

Long enough......

Mike.

I was at the Orthodox service of Theophany (also known as Epiphany), a commemoration of the divine moment when the Christ was baptized by water and the Triune God was manifested, the Father Son and Spirit. I remember that day being a bit rainy and dreary, although the liturgy mentioned light very often. It didn't damper my spirit or anything like that, in fact I loved the service, but I figured it would've been nice to experience Theophany on a shiny day.

Near the conclusion of the service, when we all proclaimed in unison "God is manifested!" The clouds broke instantly and light poured in through the stained glass window of Christ. It lit up in that place I tell you. That's one of the favorite miracles I've ever seen. Think what you will about the Orthodox Church, but it's a church of miracles.

I had another great experience when the Holy Spirit breathed upon me. His warm breath fell upon my forehead and sent electricity throughout my entire body, I was wrecked by the presence of God and I wept, shaking, in the world but not of it. It was the strongest encounter with God I've ever had.

At times, from out of nowhere, I get a whiff of a heavenly fragrance that has no earthly source. It is such a beautiful, pleasing, amazing scent. It's a small miracle but I delight in it every time it blows through!

Coming back to God was a miracle. I had no intention of doing it. I believe it was the prayers of others which moved His heart to spill out His grace upon me... I always try my best to remember that salvation is His, not mine.

Wow those are three great testimonies of God's goodness! Thanks for sharing them!

I have one of my own to share that just happened today. We were at target to get a few groceries and use the free wifi. We had just bought a pop and small chips, after we sat down at the table, we prayed for everyone in the store and released God's forgiveness and love to everyone who would enter, and asked God to send laborers to people with His Word, and to bless everyone. Then proceeded with enjoying our time on line. This lady who had been eating walked up to us, put a 20$ bill on the table and looked at me and said that she thought i could put this money to good use better than she could. Wow my mouth hung open, because only one other time has someone gave us money or cans. Only God knew that we had been praying and thanking Him for the money to buy the few things that we needed. And glory be to God...we had one dollar left over, after tithe was taken out. God is soooooo awesome! And takes such wonderful care of us. Matthew 6:33 says to seek first the kingdom of God and His righteousness, (or His ways of doing and being right) and all those things will be added unto us. Not just materially, but spiritually also.
Blessings of peace and joy be yours in abundance!

Matt 6 explains how to enter the promises. God's will on Earth as it is in Heaven. That's His will.

I knew it was all God when she came up and thanked us for praying for the hearts of all those others because I was not praying that loud that she should have heard me that far back from us. Quoted a few of His scriptures on the way up to the store and thanked Him for the 20 dollars and even remember saying I sure would enjoy being able to find or receive this 20 dollars before we leave target so we can simply get all the extra things we needed to get.

Well as soon as we walked into the lobby part so much peace was in the area. Not the norm for there. The lady and I met eyes a couple of times as I cleaned the table and set things up. The I took Cturtles hands and we prayed and a few moments later the lady walked up to the table placed a 20 dollar bill on the table and said it was wonderful to see some one pray and then mentioned some of what we had prayed....It is ALL GOD !!
GLORY TO GOD
Jim
