I went with the left overs. I loves me the turkey sandwich. But if you had corn pudding up there, then that would definitely be my vote. There's nothin' like corn pudding.

I love to snuggle on the couch and watch the game after such a beautiful meal. And all the parts of the meal are just plain good. It use to be my nice to sit and watch the game with my husband...the children are always playing in another room...and there were always snacks like cheese, crackers, veggies, and dips, on the coffee table, in case our tanks started to empty a bit. :)

Ok, I'm going to be Mr Spiritual here and say my favorite part about Thanksgiving is dwelling upon everything that I have to be grateful for. We do this always as a family on Thanksgiving as we are preparing the meal, so that we feast on not only food, but joy.

Aside from that, gigantic piece of pumpkin pie with ice cream, and a wonderful cup of freshly pressed Caribou coffee. Then back out to the hunting shack, deer beware.

Good point. I like to remind my family of

Phil 4:6 Be careful for nothing; but in every thing by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving let your requests be made known unto God.

when I pray before dinner.

Well, I voted stuffing because it's the closest thing I could find to dressing, but anyway... (I have to admit, though, I pretty much enjoy the entire meal. Okay, maybe not the cranberry sauce.)

I really like being with my family, and just having a good get together. It just makes me realize just how much I have to be thankful for. One of the best things about the day is right before the meal, we all stand in a circle while my grandpa asks the blessing. It gives me a great feeling.

Great points, but they are kinda off topic. This topic is about the meal, not the holiday itself. But sinc ethese things can be tied into the meal like the football game I think I can... 8-)Click the smiley it's a link.
