So I just rented the new Tomb Raider movie from the library since I liked the other two movies with Angelina Jolie in them, and really enjoyed the game series growing up, (I still do now :biggrin ) but here is a helpful tip, if you are also a fan of the older movies and the game, don't watch the new one. Of course that's only just in my opinion though. I just found the plotline rather boring and difficult to follow. Lara's famous pair pistols don't even show up until the end just right before the credits. I guess it was alright to watch one time, but (maybe since it was a prequel since her father was alive up until the end) it just wasn't the Tomb Raider that I know. All in all I give it a four out of ten

I actually kind of liked it.
It was almost like Man of Steel vs Superman with Christopher Reeves. Yeah... different but then again movie tech and plot lines have to keep up with technology and scientific advancement.

Also Angelina Jolee wasn't available to do the new one...she has gotten too old and too many tattoos and gone a little too nuts to appear in a movie.

It's a prequel... Wasn't worth the price at the box office but is worth the 100+ minutes to watch.

Well to each their own,..:shrug but wait a minute, wait a minute!!! :mouthdrop You're a Tomb Raider fan too??? How much more awesome can you possibly get!? If you tell me that you also roleplay, enjoy watching Naruto and like Halloween (my second favorite holiday next to Christmas)it might just give me a heart attack!

I actually prefer Easter to Halloween but yes, I like Halloween too. I try to find the good Halloween candy early in the season. The most good while unique at the same time for the trick or treat kids who come to the door. (We don't get many)
The leftovers go to Richard who runs security for our church. He's a regular policeman but all the kids come up to him to get a piece of candy. Usually he has Tootsie rolls or mints. But when we give him leftovers it causes a scene...
"Mr. Richard, do you have any brains?"
Almost makes me cry laughing because the kid was asking for gummy brains...

Fun stuff.

Oh and this topic reminded me about the other movie that I like based on a videogame that I actually believe is rather underrated as I quite enjoyed the Super Mario Bros movie. :) But yeah, back on topic I really should start playing Tomb Raider again and see if I can finally make it past the level that I've been stuck on for the past few months. :wall
