To Daniel, a prophet and servant of the Lord

Daniel 12:8-10
And I heard, but I understood not: then said I, O my Lord, what shall be the end of these things? And he said, Go thy way, Daniel: for the words are closed up and sealed till the time of the end. Many shall be purified, and made white, and tried; but the wicked shall do wickedly: and none of the wicked shall understand; but the wise shall understand.
And the earth shall be covered in darkness, and great darkness the people, and then suddenly your light shall shine forth, now who do you think these people will be, that shine forth the Light, ??????

Why would you look at any other son than the SON? He was your example.
This is a Bible study right? The thing you speak of in your opening statement I either know nothing about or am confused.
I read Paul say he is a servant and slave to Christ. You said there is a difference in being a servant and a son. I quoted the exact questions you asked that I would like an answer for in my first post to you. Are you teaching or not?

Were you called out like Paul was to be a servant for Christ to deliver the gospel message to the gentiles? Were you called to be a servant or were you called to be a son or daughter?

Now I'm getting more confused.

I hope will you will join me in this study on Servants and Sons. What is the difference? What is unique to each?
Do you know the answer to these or not? This is what I was interested in.

Galatians 4:1-7
Now I say, That the heir, as long as he is a child, differeth nothing from a servant, though he be lord of all; But is under tutors and governors until the time appointed of the father. Even so we, when we were children, were in bondage under the elements of the world: But when the fulness of the time was come, God sent forth his Son, made of a woman, made under the law, To redeem them that were under the law, that we might receive the adoption of sons.
And because ye are sons, God hath sent forth the Spirit of his Son into your hearts, crying, Abba, Father. Wherefore thou art no more a servant, but a son; and if a son, then an heir of God through Christ.

That's fantastic for establishing that there are servants and sons. I'm more interested in the questions you posted directly.

They are...
What is the difference?
and
What is unique to each?

Is my brand of english really that bad that this isn't understood?

Hosea 2:14-17 (KJV)
Therefore, behold, I will allure her,
and bring her into the wilderness,
and speak comfortably unto her.
And I will give her her vineyards from thence,
and the valley of Achor for a door of hope:
and she shall sing there, as in the days of her youth,
and as in the day when she came up out of the land of Egypt.
And it shall be at that day, saith the Lord, that thou shalt call me Ishi;
and shalt call me no more Baali.

For I will take away the names of Baalim out of her mouth,

Hosea 2:14-17 (NKJV)
“Therefore, behold, I will allure her,
Will bring her into the wilderness,
And speak comfort to her.
I will give her her vineyards from there,
And the Valley of Achor as a door of hope;
She shall sing there,
As in the days of her youth,
As in the day when she came up from the land of Egypt.
“And it shall be, in that day,”
Says the Lord,
“That you will call Me ‘My Husband,’

And no longer call Me ‘My Master,’

For I will take from her mouth the names of the Baals,
And they shall be remembered by their name no more.

Revelation 2:14
But I have a few things against thee, because thou hast there them that hold the doctrine of Balaam, who taught Balac to cast a stumblingblock before the children of Israel, to eat things sacrificed unto idols, and to commit fornication.

Is it for me to supply you with all the answers? Are you capable of thinking about the difference yourself? I invited a discussion on the difference between servants and sons. So, why won't you discuss? What do you know the difference to be? I already posted a few.

A servant labors in the field until his master comes. A son has been called home by his father to rest.

1 Corinthians 9:8-10
Say I these things as a man? or saith not the law the same also? For it is written in the law of Moses, Thou shalt not muzzle the mouth of the ox that treadeth out the corn. Doth God take care for oxen? Or saith he it altogether for our sakes? For our sakes, no doubt, this is written: that he that ploweth should plow in hope; and that he that thresheth in hope should be partaker of his hope.

1 Timothy 5:17-18
Let the elders that rule well be counted worthy of double honour, especially they who labour in the word and doctrine. For the scripture saith, Thou shalt not muzzle the ox that treadeth out the corn. And, The labourer is worthy of his reward.

Matthew 7:21-23
Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity.

Do you supposed they saw themselves as servants?

a few calves of the stall.

Just as I thought " dancing around " with answers, much like the government elect...

Malachi 4:1-3
For, behold, the day cometh, that shall burn as an oven;
and all the proud, yea, and all that do wickedly, shall be stubble:
and the day that cometh shall burn them up, saith the Lord of hosts,
that it shall leave them neither root nor branch.
But unto you that fear my name shall the Sun of righteousness arise with healing in his wings;
and ye shall go forth, and grow up as calves of the stall.
And ye shall tread down the wicked;
for they shall be ashes under the soles of your feet
in the day that I shall do this, saith the Lord of hosts.

I think maybe I made a horrible assumption. I saw an invitation to a study. I did not realize that meant I had to have ideas already and hash them out. I figured it meant someone knew and was willing to tell and talk about concerns if need be.

Pardon my interruption to your discussion. I will sit back and watch.

Matthew 21:33-40
Hear another parable: There was a certain householder, which planted a vineyard, and hedged it round about, and digged a winepress in it, and built a tower, and let it out to husbandmen, and went into a far country: And when the time of the fruit drew near, he sent his servants to the husbandmen, that they might receive the fruits of it. And the husbandmen took his servants, and beat one, and killed another, and stoned another. Again, he sent other servants more than the first: and they did unto them likewise. But last of all he sent unto them his son, saying, They will reverence my son. But when the husbandmen saw the son, they said among themselves, This is the heir; come, let us kill him, and let us seize on his inheritance. And they caught him, and cast him out of the vineyard, and slew him. When the lord therefore of the vineyard cometh, what will he do unto those husbandmen?

I am a son to my Father, a servant to my brothers and sisters in the Lord, and I am a bond servant to the One who paid a high price for me. I am a bride to my bridegroom, and a helper of the widow, the orphan, and the homeless. I am all those things, and I love every minute of it.....!
And I think your beating a dead horse, ezrider.:)
