This will be the second "blood moon" (they're actually called eclipses) in the series. The first was last April. I can't remeber any "world shaking event" happening then. Could you remind me what it was that happend at the first "blood moon", so I know what kind of thing to expect at the next one?

Things don't necessarily happen at the eclipse. I'm entertaining the idea that it's just a precursor of things to come. And no, these are not the same ones mentioned in Joel or the 6th seal.

As for the first eclipse, you don't think that the Middle east and also the Ukraine is not in an uproar more than it has been for a long time? ISIS, middle eastern politics and nations changing fast, and I also watch news on the temple.

Then again, it depends what you mean by "world shaking". The last series of eclipses Israel became a nation, then in the next set took over Jerusalem. Perhaps not world shaking as big hailstones falling all over the place, but prophetically significant. Some people may have downplayed those events then and claimed there was nothing to them. But all I know is I'm seeing tensions build that we have not seen for a long time. This is the kind of stuff that world wars are made of.

As for the first eclipse, you don't think that the Middle east and also the Ukraine is not in an uproar more than it has been for a long time?

The Ukraine isn't mentioned in biblical prophecy as far as I know, so I don't believe the war there to be prophetically significant. As far as the Middle East goes, there has been tension and wars there since way before the last lunar eclipse. The so-called "Arab spring" started years ago, and Israel has been facing constant threats of terrorism and war since the day it was founded in 1948. So while there is definitely tension in the area and there was even a war recently in Israel, it is, unfortunately, nothing out of the ordinary. I would think that signs in the heavens would warn of something more happening this year than just the same as has been happening for the past years or decades.

1972 55 airplane crashes. No blood moons, by far the worst year in Aviation History.

The blood moons are just for selling books, nothing more.

I left out many verses. The message of the heavens is redemption. I do concede the wrath of God was poured out on his son Jesus, to purchase this redemption.

IMHO, blood moons are about redemption through Jesus shedding his blood. The father forsook him with a symbolic solar eclipse.

As with all things good, there is a stumbling stone presented.

FWIW, I think that iLOVE is right about the moons being a sign of a ‘world-shaking event’ that's coming... It might not be a bad idea to be ready for it, I don't think we're out of the woods just yet. Even a little mental preparedness could go a long way, right? The ‘world-shaking event’ that I think will happen are earthquakes in diverse or various places.

"Earthquakes in various places" means simultaneous earthquakes in these seven diverse places:

This is God's sacrifice for mankind, in the True Tent not made with human hands, coming to a close after 6000 years. This is the scene from Revelation 8 where the censer is cast down which includes the first global earthquake during our end times. This global earthquake will occur shortly before the first four trumpets which are "the beginning of sorrows" or "the beginning of birth pains" or "the beginning of the plauges". The Bible never directly calls the seven trumpets the seven first plagues right? But if there's seven "last" plagues, there's gotta be seven first ones.

I've been looking into a version of Matthew 24 called du Tillet which was originally written in Hebrew. I believe that the text in this version can be connected with the casting down of the censer from Revelation 8, then connects with the three Prophetic time periods from Daniel 12 which then snap right into a slot made in the solar and lunar cycle. One of the ends of this "slot" connects with our tetrads.

CNN did a story not long ago about Earthquakes and how they are hitting Diver's places or populated places as opposed to out in the sea. Diver's place in Greek means populated area's. Just thought I would mention this, not sure it's connected to the Blood Moon theory.

I understand the interest in the blood moons, it sounds kinda cool and is unusual. But, the truth is that multiple times the New Testament tells us we are in the end times, so we already know that.
I would think that it is more interesting now that Obama has been turning his back on Israel, something I haven't seen in my lifetime and trying to make a deal with a known nation that is a sponsor of terror and wants to destroy Israel.

I don't buy into Blood moons either, they are very Loosly, and I mean loose found in scriptures. Through History believers have always tried to find physical evidence of the end and write books about it.

According to scriptures, Israel will be destroyed regardless. Jesus said there will be wars, and rumor of wars, so I am pretty sure the focus is on Israel. I think Obama is just trying to help out scripture better.

The moon right now has turned into blood.

Yeah, I set the alarm to get up early and go watch. Clear skies and a beautiful sight, except.......

It turned to blood, and with all the crime scene tape, I couldn't figure out which of the dozen or so CSI shows was on the scene using all of their forensic skills trying to figure out who it was the really killed Jesus.

Turned to blood huh... I wonder if the moon rocks brought back to earth could be tested for DNA?
